Our client is seeking a fully remote, temporary Legal Contracts Assistant to support the Legal and Risk team with contract administration and database support. This role is focused on processing a backlog of contract documents and accurately entering contract information into the contract management and Salesforce-based systems. Salary: $25-35/hr Location: Houston, TX REMOTE Type of Position: Temporary - 6 months Responsibilities: Upload, file and organize various contract documents within the contract systems. Assist team with processing documents for signature. Process a high volume of contract documents in electronic systems daily. Ensure contract records are complete, accurate, and properly indexed. Clean up and correct incomplete or inconsistent contract data in database and internal systems. Run system reports to identify missing information and update records accordingly. Perform additional administrative or legal support tasks as assigned. Requirements: Previous experience in a legal assistant, administrative assistant, or contracts support role. Basic contract knowledge to identify and enter key information from contracts. Experience working in databases or enterprise systems Strong organizational skills with consistent attention to detail. Ability to read and identify basic contract terms. Comfortable working in systems and databases for extended periods of time. Reliable, focused, and able to follow established processes and spot areas for improvement. What You Will Do Carpenter Essential Functions: Install, maintain, and repair walls, flooring, ceilings, fixtures, doors, hardware, and laminate. Adjust colors as needed. Apply tape and joint compound to repair sheetrock walls and ceilings. Remove graffiti using appropriate products. Install and repair wall coverings. Operate, clean, and maintain painting equipment, including brushes, rollers, sprayers, and pumps. Purchase and inventory equipment and supplies. Estimate time and materials required for projects. Erect scaffolding and use ladders safely in compliance with safety codes. Store and label materials safely. Adhere to state and local disposal requirements for hazardous materials. Respond to routine and emergency service calls, documenting completed work in the work order system. Complete tasks efficiently as directed by the People Leader.
