The Senior Service Technician is responsible for repairing and reconditioning equipment in the Market Center and/or customer locations. LFG Specialties is a part of the Solid Waste Services group within APTIM's Environmental & Energy Solutions Strategic Business Unit. LFG Specialties is an original equipment manufacturer and has been servicing the solid waste industry (i.e., landfills) since 1987, providing custom fabricated compliance equipment (i.e., landfill gas extraction and compression systems, flares, and evaporation systems for the treatment of landfill leachate), service, and parts. These modular systems are designed, fabricated, and tested at APTIM's Findlay, OH campus, which consists of over 45,000 sq. ft. of fabrication and assembly shop area. These systems serve to minimize fugitive landfill gas emissions and reduce leachate volumes to maintain compliance with the EPA guidelines for MSW landfills and mitigate the release of Greenhouse Gases that deteriorate the ozone.
