Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Roadway Inspector III at the Murray, UT office.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
Provides on the job training to new employees.
Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.
Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records.
Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
Tracks quality assurance progress.
Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
High School + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency or experience and/or education.
A valid drivers license is required
The ability to pick up at least 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
Preferred Experience:
SRDTT Concrete Testing Certification
Prior UDOT inspection experience.
Prior inspection experience working with a municipal or state agency.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company and Customer safety standards and procedures.
Travels to Clients' locations.
Conducts inspections on piping, pressure vessels and storage tanks within facilities and terminals.
Conducts API inspections on piping, pressure vessels and storage tanks within facilities and terminals.
Willingness to maintain API certifications and ongoing development.
Able to manage projects and personnel successfully.
Program development; key team member in continual improvement of service program to include improvement support of procedures and work instructions.
Ensures quality and safety standards are achieved and maintained.
Reads and interprets drawings and schematics.
Assists other Technicians in the field, as necessary.
Able to read P&IDs, PFD, construction documentation, U1A documents.
Able to perform basic calculations pertaining to remaining life, next inspection date, retirement date.
Supports and solicits input and feedback from team members at all levels within the organization.
Works safely and completes all Company and Client Safety daily paperwork.
Adheres to Company policies and procedures in their entirety.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

8+ years of Facility Integrity experience required.
Technical background in NDE methods and procedures.
NDE experience, ASNT TC-1a Level II or equivalent Certification in UTT, knowledge of applicable advanced NDE methods (GUL-XB2, AUT, SRUT, PEC, PA).
Experience in project management functions.
Significant Experience in report writing.
Demonstrated capability to perform the responsibilities of an API Inspector.
Knowledge of industry codes and standards.
Customer management skills.
Able to continually define ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer and market relationships.
Ability to communicate effectively with key customers to identify future needs and effectively positions the Company to capitalize on these.

Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the quality of processes and product within an assigned functional area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following represent general inspection functions which may or may not be required depending upon the functional area in which you are assigned. Inspectors may be reassigned to a different sub function at any time based on the business need, and training will be provided.
Perform dimensional inspection using mechanical and visual inspection equipment, such as an optical comparator, contour reader, dial indicators, inspection hand tools, surface plates, height gauges, air gauges, specialized bearing measurement equipment, and gauge blocks.
Measure bearing assemblies and/or component features such as roundness, concentricity, perpendicularity, flatness, sphericity, surface finish, surface noise and vibration levels using specialized equipment.
Complete basic control charts, run charts, prepare charts, and histograms.
Read and understand drawings, specifications, procedures, standards and instructions. Write inspection rejection reports in accordance with company procedures, and maintain detailed inspection records using appropriate forms. Make recommendations regarding quality and manufacturing improvements as needed.
Perform visual inspection of bearing assemblies, and/or bearing components, using microscope and the unaided eye.
Communicate with Manufacturing & Quality personnel and other disciplines as required in a timely and professional manner.

Adecco has a great opportunity to work with a top manufacturing company in the Milford area seeking full time Quality Inspectors!
Work Schedule:
Days Shift: 7am-7pm, 3 - 4 days/week, alternating weekends
Night shift: 7pm-7am, 3 - 4 days/week, alternating weekends
Job Description:
• Perform visual, dimensional and functional inspection of products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform testing using microscope, magnifying glass and mechanical and electronic gages.
• Ability to accurately complete required documentation of tests and results both using a computer and manually.
• Ability to recognize incomplete and inaccurate batch records and react accordingly.
• Immediately bring any problems or defects to the attention of the supervisor.
• Maintain equipment and work in a neat, clean and orderly manner.
• Demonstrate the ability to work and communicate effectively with others while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Follow directions and adhere to all safety standards and plant rules.
• Troubleshoot problems and share ideas for continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate reliability with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Computer literacy required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $18.72 per hour
