Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process.
Selecting and setting up welding equipment, including choosing the correct welding method.

Welding components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (flat, vertical, horizontal, overhead).
Monitoring the welding process to avoid overheating, distortion, or other defects.
