Job Responsibilities
Project Management - analyze project specifications, create and execute test scenarios, document results, manage priorities, and maintain continuous communication with project stakeholders
Analyze internal log files for detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Leverage VeriFix for testing FIX protocol and creating/maintaining automated test cases
Create and execute database scripts for analyzing test results and establishing test scenarios
Execute and document functional, regression, integration, and performance test cases
Report and track issues found during the QA lifecycle
Qualifications
5+ years' experience testing Fixed Income electronic trading systems.
Proficiency in SQL and experience in SQL query writing
Experience in automated testing and scripting
Good working knowledge of application integration, functional, regression, and performance testing
Good understanding of Fixed Income Markets is a must
Ability to work under pressure and delivery under tight deadlines
A confident and self-motivated individual and able to work in a fast paced, demanding environment
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Tradeweb is opening an exciting new role for a Vice President, Investment Accounting, to oversee the accounting and reporting for the company's portfolio of strategic and financial investments, including minority equity investments, convertible debt instruments, warrants and equity method investments. This newly created role consolidates all investment-related accounting and reporting activities under one function and offers the opportunity to own the full lifecycle of investment accounting, from assistance in due diligence and initial accounting conclusions to monthly close and basis tracking to quarterly fair value and impairment analyses and assistance in the preparation of quarterly 10Q/K disclosures.
The Vice President will oversee both the technical and operational aspects of investment accounting, including preparing monthly journal entries, reconciliations and detailed investment and equity method schedules. The role will involve evaluating investee financial statements to identify accounting principle differences (i.e. IFRS vs US GAAP and/or private vs. public company accounting elections), tracking basis differences and step-ups resulting from purchase price allocations, maintaining converted books for equity method investees and calculating equity pickup amounts. The Vice President will also prepare quarterly impairment and fair value analyses and related technical accounting memos and quarterly financial statement disclosures. The position will report to the Director of M&A Accounting and Integration and will work closely with corporate development, legal, tax, corporate accounting and SEC reporting teams and assist with external audit requests.
