The Traffic Clerk II is responsible for ensuring the integrity of shipped and received goods by verifying and maintaining records of all incoming and outgoing shipments to and from the warehouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Examine contents and compares with records, such as manifests, invoices, bills of lading and other records to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.
Prepare material for shipping ensuring freight is properly packed, labeled and staged in designated areas with relevant documentation. Record shipment data, such as weight, space availability, damages, or discrepancies.
Reports damages, shortages, or nonconformance of material and/or documents to specifications.
Route material to designated areas in the warehouse using work devices, such as hand jack, hi-lo, packaging equipment. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of warehouse and cargo.
Operate forklifts in loading and offloading trucks.
Complete on-hand process in accordance with company regulations, including use of a computer, use scanning devices and produce inventory and shipping reports.


Education and Experience:


High School Diploma and or GED, plus 3-5 years of warehouse experience is required.
Forklift Certification is required

Pay: $15.50/HR

Job Purpose:

This position reports directly to the logistics supervisor and under general direction will be responsible to assist with office duties supporting billing, reporting, TMW updating.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Clerk “he/she" will have direct contact with carrier customer care to answer shipment inquiries and communicate shipment status. All issues are first reported to
  • Logistics Management prior to disclosing info.
  • Confirms and/or processes orders and bills of lading with corresponding information and rates provided by Logistics Manager.
  • Will scan, file, and log daily all paperwork. Will maintain records by day, week, month and year for logistics purposes
  • Will e-mail and fax all paperwork to command center/ back office to properly pay carriers on time and invoice shipper of loads. Provides timely communication to customers and personnel on all aspects of shipment status
  • Acts as point of contact for carriers, customers and company staff departments (provides customer service and load details including schedule carrier pick-ups) Documentation of daily shipments with a log of time of arrival, time of load and time of shipping.
  • Create, update and close out all entries in the transportation management system.
  • TruckMate, PC miler, and any Transportation Management System is preferred
  • Must be able to follow written instruction, write clearly, and communicate well at all level. Knowledge with Forwarding, Brokerage, and a 3PL environment preferred Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required. . Above average math comprehension. . Attention to detail
  • Must have 2 years of experience
  • 1 year prior with a current customer base, desired.

Compile and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments. Plan and direct driver's assignments including checking them in, assigning their doors, and checking them out once the load is complete. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as first point of contact for delivery drivers
  • May receive, count and log cash received by carriers
  • Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to make sure shipping/receiving documents are completed accurately and timely
  • Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in system
  • Notify carriers and key team members of pending, no shows and/or unscheduled arrivals
  • Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments if necessary
  • Enter data into the warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler

  • Basic math skills may be required at some facilities

  • Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear, may be required at some facilities
  • May be required to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
  • Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
