DESCRIPTION OF WORK

You will be tasked with developing specifications for these systems, designing integrated signal solutions for heavily trafficked corridors, and implementing extensive closed-loop systems equipped with preemption and reporting features. Additionally, you will create multi-intersection progression plans utilizing various highway capacity and optimization software, review preliminary designs and capacity analyses to ensure adherence to sound traffic principles, and conduct traffic signal warrant analyses for upcoming projects. Your role will also involve designing traffic signal installations, which includes determining pole and signal placement, phasing, timing, conduit, wiring, coordination, and all other necessary details.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Monmouth University Police Department is seeking Applications for PATROL OFFICER I positions. Entry-level applicants who do not possess current training and certification as police officers in New Jersey will be considered but are required to attend a New Jersey Police Academy, meet the requirements for the Basic Police Course, and commit to employment as a Patrol Officer with Monmouth University for a

This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position.
As part of an assigned team, University Police Officers provide campus safety, security, and law enforcement services to the University community. In addition, the individual provides a wide range of services, including both traditional and non-traditional police services.
The successful candidate must project a positive image and participate in crime prevention and community-oriented public safety programming that reflects the University's diverse population.
Additionally, University Police Officers enforce University regulations, local ordinances, and state laws. The individual is a first responder to incidents, accidents, and other emergencies and is responsible for conducting initial and follow-up investigations into significant and criminal incidents.
The individual will work under the direction of a Sergeant, Captain, or Chief of Police.

You will be tasked with conducting analyses, preparing trafficcontrol data reports for studies, and formulating recommendations based on your findings. As you advance in your training and develop your skills, you will encounter increasingly challenging projects and assignments, all of which will be reviewed for accuracy by a TrafficControl Specialist, rotation manager, or coordinator upon completion.
In addition to your core responsibilities, you will play a vital role in the creation of traffic operations reports by gathering and analyzing traffic data, as well as contributing to the formulation of policies, procedures, and guidelines for the traffic management center. Your involvement will also extend to the evaluation and testing of various software applications and essential traffic operations tools, ensuring effective control of devices, monitoring and managing traffic flow, conducting data analysis, and performing quality assurance and control on existing operational efforts.

Monmouth University Police Department is seeking Applications for PATROL OFFICER I positions. Entry-level applicants who do not possess current training and certification as police officers in New Jersey will be considered but are required to attend a New Jersey Police Academy, meet the requirements for the Basic Police Course, and commit to employment as a Patrol Officer with Monmouth University for a period of 3 years. Costs to attend the police academy training are paid by the university. Trainees are paid $19.25 per hour.
This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position.
As part of an assigned team, University Police Officers provide campus safety, security, and law enforcement services to the University community. In addition, the individual provides a wide range of services, including both traditional and non-traditional police services.
The successful candidate must project a positive image and participate in crime prevention and community-oriented public safety programming that reflects the University's diverse population.
Additionally, University Police Officers enforce University regulations, local ordinances, and state laws. The individual is a first responder to incidents, accidents, and other emergencies and is responsible for conducting initial and follow-up investigations into significant and criminal incidents.
The individual will work under the direction of a Sergeant, Captain, or Chief of Police.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Your involvement will also extend to the evaluation and testing of various software applications and essential traffic operations tools, ensuring effective control of devices, monitoring and managing traffic flow, conducting data analysis, and performing quality assurance and control on existing operational efforts.
