Responsible for continued and efficient flow of traffic in driveway. Directs vendor delivery truck unloading. Administers warning to vehicle no parking zones. Promotes positive customer relations and excellent guest service. Provides Family Style Service at all times May perform other duties as assigned This position can be located on organization chart H-1


Minimum Qualification


High School diploma or equivalent experience preferred. One year previous experience in parking operations. Must have excellent communication skills. Required to perform the customer service standards of the department Knowledgeable of the Casino Control Act respective to regulations, as well as company internal controls, policies and procedures.

Starting Pay : $18-$21/hr DOE to start w/ raise upon permanent job offer

Shift : Day, some nights for higher pay

Schedule : Mon-Fri w/ some wknds for higher pay

Job Summary

A flagger and TCS ensure a safe and productive control of traffic through road construction and line repair jobs. They are the frontline to keeping the crews, pedestrians, and drivers safe while trying their hardest to not impede anyone in the process.

Duties/Responsibilities

• *Using WSDOT/MUTCD standards to set up traffic control devices on the road
• *Adheres to all safety requirements including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, and controlling traffic in a safe and efficient manner
• *Maintains a professional mannerism at all times while communicating with the drivers, crews, and their flagging partner(s)
• *Work in ALL weather conditions with no issues and no leaving sites early
• *Work with the crews to manage and set up their work site quickly and efficiently and be ready to make last minute changes as needed
• *Stand in one place for the whole shift (sometimes up to 14 hours)

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17.50 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Traffic Controller:

* Work with team to establish safe movement of traffic around work zone, in accordance with safety regulations and/or Department of Transportation regulations

* Flag motorists to warn them of obstacles or repair work ahead

* Take ownership of work zone and pass vehicles safely

* Place signs, barricades, traffic cones, and other warning devices- duties will vary according to job assignment

* Respond to emergencies as directed and perform tasks in the interest of public safety and property protection during emergencies

Job requirements:

* Work outdoors in all weather conditions

* Communication skills required - Traffic Controllers remain in constant contact with the crew

* Remain in a stationary position for long periods at a time
