Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and materials used. Prepare detailed reports of incidents, system failures, and resolutions. Document field changes to as-built diagrams.
Coordination and Communication:
Coordinate with municipalities, utility companies, and contractors during construction, upgrades, and emergency repairs. Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and the public regarding project status and traffic impacts.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to company and industry safety standards, including work zone traffic control procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) use. Identify and report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the General Foreperson.
Vehicle and Equipment Oversight:
Ensure proper maintenance and readiness of assigned vehicles and equipment. Report mechanical issues or needed repairs to the General Foreperson promptly.
Emergency Response:
Respond to emergency signal outages or knockdowns after hours, as required. Perform temporary repairs and restore safe traffic operation until permanent repairs can be completed.
Training and Development:
Maintain IMSA certifications and participate in ongoing training to stay current with advancements in traffic control technology and electrical codes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to work in a bucket or platform truck/device (L1-L3).
Able to read blueprints/plans and construct as per plans (L2-L3).
Able to direct and oversee TrafficSignal Laborers. (L2-L3).
Able to operate various equipment in order to install signal items (Bucket Truck, Digger Derrick/Boom Trk, etc) (L2-L3).
