    We're seeking an experienced Transportation Noise Analyst to join our Noise team in Baltimore, Maryland or Raleigh, North Carolina and collaborate with the Transportation Engineering group. This role involves conducting noise analyses for transportation projects across the eastern U.S. through planning, engineering, and construction phases. Responsibilities include performing noise analysis, evaluating noise abatement, preparing reports, attending client meetings, and supporting public outreach efforts. Experience with transportation noise analysis, 23 CFR 772 compliance, and familiarity with mid-Atlantic region noise policies is preferred. Air Quality experience is a plus. Key responsibilities include data collection, noise monitoring, modeling, mitigation analysis, report writing, and coordination with clients for NEPA studies or final design projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in project planning, understand highway design plans, ability to coordinate with team members, to manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks to meet client needs. Knowledge of transportation planning, particularly highway projects, is essential. We seek a motivated, organized individual capable of working in both office and field environments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and engaging with clients to foster strong relationships. Essential Functions Knowledge of state and federal (FHWA) noise policies and procedures Experience preparing highway noise traffic analyses, including for state DOT projects, in the eastern U.S. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Strong technical capabilities in noise analysis Self-motivated Team leadership experience preferred Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within teams Ability to prioritize and balance sometimes heavy workloads to achieve client goals Understanding of MicroStation, OpenRoads, Geopak, and/or GIS Proficiency in the latest version of the Traffic Noise Model (TNM 2.5 or 3.X).
