Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising company strategy related to domestic, international, VAS and cartage freight warehouse operations through an understanding of industry trends and best practices. Responsibilities
* Support warehouse operations staff in the day-to-day activities of Domestic, International, Pick Pack and Ship, and Cartage Freight Warehouse and Department personnel.
* Meet directly with local warehouse supplier/tools/equipment providers through all communication levels (email, phone, meeting, provider site visits). Utilize negotiation and communication skills to obtain desired results
* Develop an AIT baseline of operations and benchmark to industry standards for AIT logistics areas such as warehousing for domestic, international, and "Pick Pack and Ship" helping to identify opportunities for cost and service improvement. Reach out to peers through attendance of seminars, industry events, education settings and corporate contact.
* Supervise and oversee daily domestic service and operations activities as it relates to cartage, freight movement and dispatch pickup/delivery quotes
* Provide an effective warehousing system that delivers a high level of service to both external and internal customers. Identify opportunities within the affected areas and partner with Terminal / Station Manager to implement new solutions through project management protocols and elimination of constraints.
* Review and suggest changes to permanent and temporary staff as needed to ensure the warehouse department are able to meet company goals.
* Achieve warehouse expense goals by working with various AIT internal groups to develop, implement and monitor warehousing logistic metrics.
* Ensure safe working environment through consistent practice of safety programs and procedures

Overview
The
Domestic Agent II
has high visibility, is the primary contact for designated customers, and responsible for the outcome of assigned projects including customer service, tracking, routing, problem resolution, vendor compliance and customer interaction.
Responsibilities
Essential
Quoting, tracking and tracing domestic freight shipments moving via air/ground on a daily basis. Track overhead shipments daily and route accordingly
Route freight shipments across multiple transportation modes and services based upon client requests
Proactively communicate with clients regarding status of freight
Communicate with vendors/suppliers regarding shipment dispatch, routing and rates
Assist local sales and domestic offices with air/ground freight issues
Manage daily on-time and defect codes, carrier re-weights and insure all masters rated
Assist in compiling customer specific key performance indicator (KPI) reports on a weekly/monthly basis as needed
Ensure paperwork, labeling and scanning for accuracy
Understand the requirements/expectations of handling shipments of consequence - NFO, high-value, date/time specific, etc.

Overview
The Carrier Sales Representative II will develop and own strategic relationships with a portfolio of carriers who support AIT's network of external and internal customers. The primary role of the Carrier Sales Representative II will be to procure capacity and build deep relationships with our carrier partners. Recent graduates can kickstart their careers with AIT's Launch program. Overview
The
Global Compliance Coordinator
will be responsible for data entry of compliance information into various AIT and Government operating systems, updating the Compliance Department's intranet website, performing compliance related audits, and supporting compliance team members and AIT field offices. The
Global Compliance Coordinator
is administrative in nature.
Responsibilities
Review and respond to requests from AIT facilities and process through AIT systems following compliance policies and procedures.
Assist with monitoring of internal compliance controls and audits.
Update the Compliance Department's intranet site to support distribution of resources to global team members.
Monitor and maintain Global Compliance and Government related files.
Deliver compliance reporting to Global Compliance team members to support auditing procedures.
Coordinate employee onboarding requirements to maintain compliance with Transportation Security Administration and other governing bodies.
Assist with managing AIT's third-party risk management platform.
Respond to correspondence and incoming phones calls in a timely manner.
Maintain compliance related files in well-organized manner, accurate, easily accessible and updated, as needed.
Work on special projects as needed, as assigned by Manager.
The wage range for this position is $26.20-$36.10 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience

Overview
The
Station Manager
is accountable for the P&L and operational oversight and management, leadership and direction of the station to provide quality service, customer satisfaction and operational proficiency that ensures growth and profitability goals/objectives are met. The
Station Manager
is responsible for implementation and compliance with company policies and procedures, quality standards, and other applicable regulatory guidelines, with respect to operational, administrative, customer service, marketing, and sales functions for the site. This position will develop and grow business in their dedicated region and will conduct business development activities.
Responsibilities
Lead, direct, and manage all station functions to ensure that all departments and staff execute service agreements.
Maximize profitability through superior customer service, effective and prompt communication and follow-up on all pending matters with the customer.
Responsible for business development, sales and marketing and new account development to ensure that maximum transportation revenue is generated for the station.
Provide station staff with daily guidance, leadership and overall support on any issues relating to operations, communication, human resources, revenue enhancement, standardizing procedures, systems applications, and executing processes to meet customer needs.
Develop and execute plans, and programs to meet anticipated organizational needs in the areas of functional responsibility and ensure compliance with corporate policies and guidelines, quality standards, and other regulatory requirements.
Review analysis of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated business development goals and objectives.
Review and evaluate station P&L performance and establish short term goals to address any budgetary shortfalls.
Collaborate with senior management to develop continuous improvement methodology in key areas of service, profit, and growth, and use key performance indicators to drive and quantify cost optimization while maintaining customer quality and service.
Ensure that freight is being expedited in a safe and timely manner.
Ensure safety methods and programs are implemented and maintained.
Utilize superior communication skills to motivate staff and develop effective working relationships with peers, executives, and clients.
Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary.
The wage range for this position is $107,900.00-$155,400.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred / High School Diploma with equivalent combination of work experience may be considered.
Minimum five (5) years industry experience required - logistics environment with International and Domestic experience.
Minimum three (3) years supervisory or managerial experience required.
Valid Driver's License required
Proven experience managing a full P & L, required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
Able to perform all aspects of Domestic and International Operations including: customer service, dispatch, cargo and etc.
Ability to organize and perform multiple assignments in a high-volume, fast-work environment.
Ability to interact, communicate and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, customers in all levels of management.
Proven ability to lead and manage the activities of a diverse workforce.
Skilled problem solver with leadership qualities.
Excellent communication, decision and management skills.
