**Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain:** Secret
**Public Trust/Other Required:** NACLC (T3)
**Job Family:** Training
Develops; organizes; and conducts simulation training for Combat Systems/Operations and Bridge personnel assigned to Littoral Combat Ships. Must be capable of conducting performance/scenario-based laboratory training using the Navy's latest immersive virtual reality trainers. The candidate would provide operational support to train LCS sailors in tactical employment of the Combat Management System (CMS), associated weapons systems; system capabilities and limitations; employment of automated systems; mission planning and execution; and tactical communications. When required, the candidate would provide subject matter expertise in support of curriculum development for LCS courses.
+ Must be prepared to support the Train to Qualify (T2Q) and Train to Certify (T2C) process utilizing shore-based trainer requiring dynamic manipulation of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) equipment during integrated scenarios.
+ Coordinates the development and delivery of complex training programs and related materials in support of customer training objectives. Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Prepares; reviews; and customizes Exercise Control Guides (ECG) and supporting documentation in support of traditional laboratory and immersive virtual reality training.
+ Supports Formal Course Reviews and Curriculum Updates; conducts training gap analysis and provides formal feedback / recommendations for Course improvement.
+ Develops; maintains; and delivers moderately complex Navy Combat Systems training programs and related materials in support of SCSTC training objectives.
+ Establishes and reviews course content and objectives.
+ Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
+ Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
+ Candidate will be required to support a second shift work or non-standard work hours on an as required basis.
+ Active Secret Security Clearance.
**Education:**
Associates/Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work/military experience.
**Qualifications:**
Five (5) years of experience all facets of tactical warfare scenario development and execution to include the employment and management of Hard-Kill/Soft-Kill Weapon systems, internal/external communications, and integration with Navy Surface, Air and Subsurface Warfare mission requirements. Of the five years, one (1) year of experience as an Instructor/Trainer/Evaluator in a Navy Training Environment, to include curriculum maintenance, writing learning objectives, preparing test items, evaluating instructional materials and the results of instruction and counseling students on academic learning problems.
Experience as a trainer/instructor and/or a Master/Afloat Training Specialist in support of SCSTC/TACTRAGRU/ATG is a significant plus. Must be able to support training with extended periods on your feet while instructing. Travel may be required up to 10% of time.
