As an entry level Resin Operator Trainee within the Coatings R&D department at the Springdale R&D Development Center, you have math skills and mechanical aptitude who is looking for hands-on training in resin manufacturing. You will provide foundational exposure to resin reactors, associated equipment, and the handling of both hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals. It includes training in safety protocols, operating procedures, and the use of forklifts, with the ultimate goal of becoming a qualified resin operator. You will report to the trainer, Senior Operator, and Team Leader.

1st Shift (Day) Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
2nd Shift (Afternoon) Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
3rd Shift (Night) Sunday - Thursday 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities
Assist trainers in producing resin batches under guidance.
Follow batch instructions including:
Read and comprehend resin logs.
Prepare equipment (cleanup, valve setups, temperature settings).
Charge raw materials to vessels, initiating reactions, and monitoring temperature/pressure.
Perform in-process testing and recording all observations.
Run batches with less guidance as experience increases.
Independently perform clean-up tasks such as cleaning reactor vessels, lines, pumps, and surrounding areas.
Prepare shift relief documentation and handle toxic raw materials during different processes under guidance.
Learn the functionality and operation of different reactor systems and related equipment.
Work with team leaders, engineers, chemists, QA staff, and others to coordinate production activities and scheduling.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Must pass the Resin Operator Test Battery.
Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills.
Ability to work rotating shifts and perform physically demanding tasks (e.g., moving 55-gallon drums and 50-80 lb bags).
Must wear personal protective equipment, including respirators and suits.
Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and around potentially irritating fumes.

Position Summary:
The Community Programs Internship in the Learning and Education department at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is designed to provide an overview of the skills and responsibilities needed for community building, socially engaged arts practices, arts administration, and production for a range of audiences for a museum setting and in local communities. The internship will include administrative, arts producing, and teaching experiences with diverse audiences.
The intern will assist with several programs including the CB to You: Mobile Art Lab that travels to libraries, afterschool programs, and neighborhood festivals, as well as supporting audience outreach and community group visits. The intern will assist with organizing kits from assembly, ordering supplies and contacting community partners to arrange delivery to the organization's location. They will conduct online research about community programs at other museums and enhance accessibility across the institution by writing and reviewing verbal descriptions of artworks and captions for videos.
The intern is part of the Community Engagement department and team, which may require additional program assistance as needed for the four pillars, as well as participation in team meetings and ideation sessions. There are several professional development opportunities throughout the summer cohort and opportunities to learn about various museum departments through lunch and learns and other programs with fellow interns.

The Studio Public Programs internship with Crystal Bridges and the Momentary (CBMO) is designed to provide an overview of the skills and responsibilities required to develop educational programs and activities to enhance CBMO engagement with studio art making. This position is to provide the employee with the opportunity to receive on-the-job training with community partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties include the following but are not considered an inclusive list.

To maintain professionalism at all times.
Maintain a positive attitude.
Wear appropriate clothing that is in accordance with the employer dress code for my workplace.
Proper hygiene.
Transportation-It is the responsibility of the trainee to obtain transportation to/from the worksite.
Attendance-Arrive on time and refrain from calling in.
To report abuse/neglect to assigned job trainer or supervisor.
To complete timecard and turn it in on time.
To maintain appropriate contact with peers and supervisors on site.
To demonstrate resourcefulness in problem solving.
To attend required pre-employment training.
To report absences in a timely manner to appropriate supervisor.
To follow worksite process for meals and snacks.
Responsible for reporting any situation that makes me feel uncomfortable on the worksite to assigned job trainer or supervisor with Job Path.
To complete all job tasks assigned to me at the worksite accurately and timely.
This is a safety-sensitive position.
Maintains confidentiality of all information received regarding Friendship Community Care, Inc. and the clients. Conditions of confidentiality shall be in compliance with Friendship Community Care Non-Disclosure Policy and HIPAA Policies.

The Code of Conduct and Compliance Investigation Procedures as read and discussed in the new employee training must be followed at all times.
Consumers' progress notes be maintained and completed
daily or as needed
on the prescribed forms.
Consumers' records must be maintained weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly. All information must be filed in consumers' records as needed and updated as prescribed by funding sources.
