The successful candidate will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to learn and perform various tasks related to the repair and maintenance of tooling equipment. General Responsibilities:
Learn and assist in repairing tooling using a variety of machine shop equipment and bench work to maintain close tolerances of ±.0005.
Learn to select allowances for spring pressures, lapping, grinding, fitting, and finishing of new tooling.
Gain knowledge in selecting metals, materials, and heat-treating processes to obtain quality parts.
Observe and assist in diagnosing machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance production.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to learn and perform various tasks related to the repair and maintenance of tooling equipment.
