Summary:
The Accelerated Commercial Experience (ACE) Trainee is responsible for completing an intensive rotational training and development program that provides employees with a fast-tracked opportunity to gain broad exposure to multiple areas of business within the Electrical Distribution industry. This is accomplished through a series of diverse assignments, projects, and classroom training. Successful program completion could lead to placement in a commercial role which opens doors to several career paths, including sales, project management, operations, procurement, marketing, and more.
What You'll Do:
All rotations are a value-add to help us transform and grow our business and professionally develop you. Participants will complete various rotations in the following disciplines:
Warehouse/Logistics - Spend time learning the logistics of the warehouse. This can include filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material
Sales - Complete several sales rotations focused on inside sales, outside sales, counter sales & other specialty sales as determined by region's business. These sales rotations will encompass customer service skills, product knowledge, sales skills, and savviness with digital tools
Operations - Identify levers that impact profitability, understand safety & facility maintenance protocols, use tools/data available to make sound business decisions, understand the trade working capital and customer service effects of maintaining a healthy inventory
Project Management - Gain hands on project management experience by establishing and owning the relationship with the customer, sales, and vendors, placing orders, tracking shipments, billing the customer, and maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the project. Learn how to review bid packages and formulate project quotations
Energy Solutions - This rotation is focused on quoting lighting project (both retrofitted and new construction), performing lighting audits geared towards providing a cost savings solution to the customer, designing lighting layouts, prospecting electric vehicle (EV) & datacom opportunities, and consulting as an overall energy expert in the field
Gain knowledge on the Automation business through a series of shadowing opportunities and prospecting opportunities to sell automation services packages to customers

A Police Trainee is a temporary, non-sworn position. Under close supervision, a Trainee participates in a comprehensive training program at a POST approved Police Academy for a period of approximately 5 months. Start your career in law enforcement with the City of Antioch! TRAINEE SALARY (While Attending the Academy) is $31.80/hour plus medical, vision, and dental benefits.
After successful completion of the Police Academy, and you transition to a sworn Police Officer, and APOA Bargaining Unit Member, the salary increases to an ANNUAL SALARY OF $115,608 - $140,532 plus additional benefits.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Under close supervision participates in a comprehensive training program at a POST approved police academy. This temporary class provides an opportunity for persons to achieve the academic and physical training required for appointment to the position of Police Officer. Appointment in this position is generally limited to the duration of the Police Academy. Academic progress and physical achievement are closely monitored during this training period. EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
Police Trainees are temporary employees assigned to the Police Department. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide mental health counseling in a school setting and/or in our Axis Mental Health Counseling Clinic. May provide several types of counseling services to potentially include individual, group, family, couples, etc.
Will counsel individual from various cultural, ethnic, financial backgrounds, and will have the opportunity to work with children/teen, adults, and older adults.
Collaborate and consult with Axis licensed clinicians, medical doctors, case managers and other staff, as necessary.
Comply with the terms outlined in the Axis Intern Agreement and all related policies.
Collaborate care with the contacts at the schools and with parents as necessary/directed.
Complete necessary documentation, using an electronic health records system. Ensure charting and documentation is consistent with related laws, regulations, and Axis standards. Documentation includes appropriate Medi-Cal billing and is also overseen by the supervisor.
Participates in peer review of clients' charts as directed.
This position may last through the school year, with the potential to stay on during the summer, although as approved by supervisor, and at decreased hours.
Mandatory, weekly participation in one hour of individual supervision, two hours of group supervision, one hour of intern training seminar, and one-hour weekly team meeting with the Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) staff.
Monitor client progress and document case notes accurately.
Provide crisis intervention support when needed.
Research and recommend community resources or support programs for clients.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in mental health practice.

You must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Trim and Finish Carpenter, have High School/GED/Equivalent education, have proficient construction math skills, basic carpentry skills and have a an understanding of construction processes, production and job site safety. A successful trainee is a team player and has the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A Katerra Carpentry Trainee can become part of a registered trainee program.
