Job Summary:
The Industrial Athletic Trainer will plan, coordinate, and supervise all components of a worksite injury management and health improvement program for employees. Perform data analysis and execute administrative tasks including, but not limited to, collection of data, completion of forms, documenting patient files, and generating reports for return on investment and budgets
Create an environment of trust and care, allowing workers to take responsibility to reduce or eliminate actions under their control that contribute to injury and illness
Communicate regularly with safety personnel regarding rehab and injury prevention activities and be a patient advocate for non-occupational injuries
Attend meetings and serve on committees as requested by client

How you'll make an impact:

Off-Leash Play
* Provide daily physical exercise with scheduled off-leash group play time.

* Assist with temperament testing each new pet for off-leash group play time.
Client Service
* Check pets in to Daycare every morning, which includes gathering instructions from.
* Clients regarding feeding, medicating, behavioral needs, and play time preference, as well as collecting the pet's belongings and storing them in their designated cubby.
* Check each pet out of Daycare / Montessori every evening, which includes returning the pet and their belongings to the client, as well as providing the client with a training progress report for their pet and homework for that day.
* Create a report card every day for each pet.
Training
* Help pets develop positive behaviors such as: waiting at every gate / doorway, sitting, and waiting politely for leashing, entering / exiting their kennel on cue, sitting for meals / toys / attention, and dropping toys when asked.
* Spend daily individual time with assigned pets teaching them new behaviors, as well as maintaining established behaviors. List of skills include, but are not limited to:
* Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Wait, Leave It, Drop It, Take It, various targeting, sit for greetings, appropriate play, crate training, and bite inhibition.
* Complete a daily training progress report for each pet.
* Document various forms of information regarding our pets' status / well-being into our computer system (Cornerstone).
* Create homework topics once per week for each client based on each individual dog's progress.

Required Education and Experience

The Illinois Secretary of State's Office, (“ILSOS”), is the largest of its kind in the nation with more than 4,200 employees and 25 separate departments. Overview:
The ILSOS Human Resources Trainer (HR Trainer) is a key member of the ILSOS Personnel Team, based in Chicago, but jointly reporting to the Deputy Director of Chicago Personnel, as well as the Lead Human Resources Trainer in the Training division in Springfield. The ILSOS HR Trainer will perform a variety of highly responsible administrative and at times confidential work involving human resources training, including mandatory and elective topics (subject matter programs) for all new and existing employees within the Office of the Secretary of State, with a focus on leading all new employee orientations in Chicago. The HR Trainer will assist in developing new human resource training programs, including materials, technological presentations and assessment tools, both mandatory and elective, with other department personnel on such topics as customer service, discipline, and substance abuse, to name a few. The HR Trainer will make recommendations to improve training and will confer with supervisors, other trainers, management or administrative staff to implement improvements. Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead Chicago NEOS. Leads the Chicago New Employee Orientation (“NEOs”), sessions, which requires at least 2 and at times 4 or more day-long Orientation sessions per month for 5 to 25 new employees per session, with additional trainings in the summer months for temporary summer workers. Leading the NEOs includes: presenting the entire program (6-7 hours), and/or working with colleagues to support them in presenting portions of the program; notifying all new employees of the details of the NEO and preparing packets of materials, often voluminous, for each trainee; presenting and grading the test trainees take at the end of the NEO; managing all follow-up paperwork for new employees following NEO, including but not analyzing and summarizing evaluations for proposed improvements.
Assist in developing and leading targeted training in other ILSOS areas of need. Job Purpose
The Ground Engagement Technical Training Developer will manage the entire technical training product life cycle for Planters, Seeders, Aircarts, and Tillage lines for dealer service technicians and internal company personnel. The role will manage a team environment to develop and maintain training content on Planters, Seeders, Aircarts, and Tillage lines including all support and course materials, for new product and current product updates, including model year changes and running changes. Communicate with various stakeholders to identify training needs to achieve technical training objectives. The successful candidate will be based in one of the following areas: Ames, IA; Racine, WI; New Holland, PA; Sioux Falls, SD; or Saskatoon, SK.
Key Responsibilities
* Be the primary contact between all the CNH technical groups and the Planters, Seeders, Aircarts, and Tillage management teams (i.e. know the strategic product range plan, approved budget items, current/future product offering, status of items/projects, manage inclusion of technical teams/members at the proper times, etc)
* Manage ordering of the new model year machines and coordinate to order within the Global Product Development lifecycle
* Identify and acquire the proper training aids for all the facilities where training will be offered. Train Technical Training with new tools and processes
* Lead creation of training content (Web Based, Virtual, Instructor led, shop activity workbooks, etc). Serve as the lead developer and trainer for all CNH ground engagement equipment. Lead annual and new product specific internal trainings (trainers/support/field); schedule it, present it, pull in resources, etc
* Participate in end of season reviews for Planters, Seeders, Aircarts, and Tillage lines
* Review new/Model Year Technical Information document changes for functional data, schematic, review manuals for content accuracy before release
* Lead the development of Overviews and Dynamic Descriptions to be published within service manuals and used for technical training, coordinate with the Technical Information project manager. Lead the creation of dynamic electrical and hydraulic drawings or animations to support the Service Manuals for training purposes; supported by Technical Information and training developers
* Assist Product Support/Technical Information on challenging cases, including field support as approved
* Participate in and conduct technical training classes, to continue development of product knowledge and delivery quality
* Work with content developers of different product lines to continuously improve the processes of development
* Work at offsite locations to present localized training (approximately 20% of time)
Experience Required
* Bachelor's Degree with three years of relevant experience OR;
* Associate degree plus five years of relevant experience OR;
* High School Diploma/GED plus eight years of relevant experience, related to engineering, technology, automotive, agricultural/construction equipment, or equivalent
* Ability to travel up to 20%
* One or more years of customer support experience
* Two or more years of experience with assigned product group (Planters, Seeders, Aircarts, and Tillage)

Pay Transparency

Implementation Coach and Training Technician - FISP

School of Social Work - Workforce Development University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Located Statewide in Illinois As a member of a specialized statewide child welfare training team, work collaboratively with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (IDCFS) and community partners to provide training, coaching, and professional development to child welfare agency staff and supervisors. This will include but not limited to providing both introductory awareness and post-training content reinforcement related to the Illinois Core Practice Model, effective child welfare agency leadership development and other key IDCFS initiatives. Facilitate and at times develop trainings, lead learning groups and provide ongoing field support to enhance the transfer of learning and reinforce application from the training environment to field operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Train, coach, and professionally develop child welfare agency staff and supervisors through individual coaching, group learning, and formal training on leadership, and promote collaborative partnering with external child welfare community service providers, and collateral entities. Provide child welfare field support, inclusive of conducting regular and frequent meetings with individuals and small cohorts within but not limited to a field office, agency or client residence. Field support will include coaching staff and supervisors to assess practice strengths and opportunities for improvement, application of programmatic frameworks and utilization of multiple methodologies aimed at outcome improvement. Coach and/or train direct service child welfare staff with incorporating job competencies into daily practice, support skill development across multiple domains/within various areas, and support and reinforce quality assurance processes with respect to the integration of agency practice models and other key IDCFS initiatives. Complete and maintain progress notes and needs assessments; author and submit regular reports, assists with data collection and entry.
* Co-lead and/or participate in workgroups as assigned which would be inclusive of attending and coordinating various meetings, drafting and disseminating notes/reports and reporting out to staff and management, work in close collaboration with the Field Implementation Support Program Managers in the performance and assignment of these duties to be inclusive of curriculum design/development, content research, revisions and enhancements. Remain current regarding emerging trends, research findings, and best practices in relevant subject matters, incorporating new knowledge into program activities and initiatives. As assigned, participate in and represent the program in various office, division, IDCFS meetings and training conferences.
* Utilize assigned IDCFS/UIUC equipment (laptop, copier/scanner, LCD projectors, presenters, smartboards, phones, and audio/video equipment), software programs, webinar and virtual platforms, various Microsoft Office products, Share Point, Excel, Qualtrics/Survey Monkey and D-Net appropriately and with proficiency as directed and required, utilize various training functions of the IDCFS Learning and Development Center online learning management system. Other related duties to further the mission of the unit as assigned.
Travel Requirements
Statewide travel required.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited college or university with course work in Social Work, Psychology or other recognized professional degree in human services. Professional experience of three (3) or more years in a public-sponsored, agency-based child welfare setting within a state system or its community partner agencies, providing direct child welfare casework services including Intact Family Services, Permanency/Foster Care, Investigations/Child Protection, Integrated Assessment, Child Welfare curriculum-based training facilitation/management, or other comparable human service experience. Two (2) of those years must include responsibility for supervision of child welfare direct service staff and/or management of child welfare services or other comparable human services. Other leadership experience will be considered. Experience with applying learning methodologies, such as coaching, transfer of learning, group facilitation, motivational interviewing, training and curriculum development.
Preferred Qualifications
Eligibility for appropriate state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Working knowledge of effective leadership, organizational change management strategies and implementation science.
* Established training, coaching and transfer of learning methodologies.
* Motivational interviewing, case study and clinical case presentation methodologies.
* Established evidence-informed child welfare practices and clinical interventions related to trauma and child maltreatment within family systems.
* Child and adolescent development, issues related to diagnosis and co-morbidity, and other behavioral health issues.
* Working knowledge of the Illinois Core Practice Model and family-centered, trauma-informed and strength-based practice application.
* Working knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion philosophy and practice.
* Strong leadership skills, the ability to critically think and problem solve.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong professional writing skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Appointment Information
This is a 100% full-time Academic Professional position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the search posting closes. Hybrid work may be considered for this position. The minimum of the salary range for this position is $68,000 - $71,000. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity. Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position
