General Description:

+ Maintenance personnel in Electrical Position are responsible for the safe and effective repair, maintenance, and installation and monitoring of operating equipment and facilities. . This work takes place in all areas of the refinery, outside exposed to the weather elements, heat, noise and vibration. The refinery processes involve hazardous and volatile materials under high temperatures and pressures. The work may take place at heights on vessels and towers and/or in confined spaces.

Assignment Duties:

+ General Responsibilities include: ensuring safe maintenance and project execution; maintaining environmental standards; monitoring the operation and condition of equipment; and safely and effectively taking actions to resolve problems and dangerous situations what might arise.

+ Safety compliance, effective communications and participation in planning and problem solving are essential.

+ Working in a team environment and assisting other personnel in accomplishing tasks and major projects.

+ Ability to perform quantified tasks.

+ Willing to take upgrade positions to oversee contractors & workforce on projects and turnarounds

Position Requirements:

+ Physical Capabilities for outside facility walking, climbing, working at elevations Reaching/Carrying, Bending, Hand and Finger Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, verbal and written communications in English, Visual Acuity, etc.

Work Hours:

+ Minimum 40 hours a week (8 hours a day) with frequent overtime, including weekends, Holidays and call outs.
