The Role
The Leader in Training (LIT) is an adaptable and essential part of the RISE Dispensary leadership team that prioritizes delivering memorable, positive consumer experiences. As part of the leadership team, you have a key role in actively supervising the dispensary's daily operations, communicating priorities to team members, and optimizing the customer journey. As a Leader in Training, you will gain subject matter expertise as you rotate through critical dispensary functions supporting operations, experience, and people. The Leader in Training role puts you on a fast track to growth and is a developmental step to becoming Assistant General Manager.
Responsibilities
Operations
Support management in overseeing the execution of all dispensary operations to ensure compliance with security, inventory, and local and state regulations.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring an assortment of products and communicating inventory action items with management.
Oversee the intake and verification of deliveries, transfers, and inventory management, ensuring accuracy within the vault.
Actively participate in leading team members to effectively execute programs, initiatives, and regionalized in-store promotions.
Demonstrate proper cash handling, including accurately processing payments, discount application, and cash maintenance, and oversee team member execution.
Experience
Lead by example and motivate team members to consistently deliver memorable, positive in-store customer experiences.
Participate in “Leader On Duty” shifts to provide active supervision, team member recognition, and redirect behaviors to support the customer journey.
Facilitate a seamless omni-channel customer experience and provide oversite to deliver consistency across in-store, drive-thru, curbside & delivery.
Lead by example and motivate team members to deliver Loyalty goals.
Complete and appropriately delegate assigned tasks during scheduled shifts. Ensure adequate sales floor coverage and zoning during shifts.
People
In partnership with the General Manager or Assistant General Manager, build and retain a high-performing team by participating in selecting the best talent and leading the onboarding and training of new team members.
Provide coaching and feedback to help team members exceed performance and behavioral expectations. Partner with management to issue accountability.
Help facilitate the store's team member badging process with local and state agencies.
Maintain and coordinate scheduling of team members' shifts, meal breaks, and rest periods.
Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
At least three years of customer service or retail experience
At least one year in a supervisory role
Cannabis experience preferred
Inventory control experience preferred
Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (i.e., ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends) to meet business needs
Must have reliable, responsible and dependable attendance.
Must be 21 years or older.
Must pass any and all required background checks.
Must possess a valid driver's license or state ID.

* Oversee the skill development training initiatives for legacy and incumbent employees including evaluating candidates for interest / level of commitment and qualifications for entering training programs such as Entry Level Driver Training programs.
* Perform gap analyses and evaluate employee proficiencies to aid in determining appropriate development paths.
* Obtain or produce appropriate training materials or presentations - including technical training information; deliver training to individuals or groups as needed. Oversee field occupations training and development programs.
* Maintain a system of training records for each regional office, including a system for obtaining employee signatures and keeping information that is compliant with audit requests.
* Evaluate and report student progress, milestones, and successes, and compare to relative training program for effectiveness.
* Attend trade shows, seminars, continuing education opportunities and related activities to attain and maintain a SME (subject matter expert) affiliation.

Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education):
* High school diploma or equivalent necessary. Higher degree (Bachelor) in Education, Training, Human Resources, Industrial Education, or related field helpful.
* Five (5) years of experience as an intermediate level Rigger, Machinery Mover, Construction Rigger, or similar role.
* Be knowledgeable in or have experience with DOT regulations and CDL training programs and requirements.
* Experience delivering training programs and curriculums, including short-duration and long-duration learning, is a plus. As well as the ability to maintain current and relative materials, topics, and records for training.
* Proficient with MS Office, including PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel, and use of a Windows-based operating system.
* Strong organization and planning skills; possess adaptability and flexibility considerations; and a customer-focused mindset.
* Ability to convey complex or technical information and concepts across all levels of staff and understanding; interpret and explain information meaning and uses to others.

Will work with mouse, keyboard, and general office equipment. Occasional work in a non-climate-controlled environment, outdoors, or on uneven terrain. May lift and/or move items weighing 20+ pounds.

Work side-by-side with new hires at their marketing locations after graduating from the training class. Travel is a requirement.
2- Partner with site marketing leadership and recruiting to assess new hire on boarding and performance of new hires, ensuring that new hires are achieving expected performance levels at or above the budgeted threshold within 90 days. Also assess broader opportunities relating to current marketing associate performance, marketing processes and a desired follow through to affect and implement positive change. **ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Support the development of training curriculum and sales resources for live and virtual sessions through content research and the procurement of SME signoff.
+ Deliver training content to Sales professionals and support opportunities for ongoing refresher content.
+ Update curriculum and relevant resources annually as needed.
+ Work with partners to establish training schedules and ensure assess availability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Facilitate phone-based training sessions on a variety of topics related to our Auto Programs;
including training Dealers on how to use our website and program tools
• Assist Dealers in completing post training program certification
• Answer incoming calls and respond to Dealer requests post training
• Build and create rapport with assigned Dealers and Field Representatives
• Process on-line tickets to update Dealer information in the Company's customer relationship
management (CRM) software
• Provide ongoing support for Field Representatives in assigned territories
• Take detailed notes and document all Dealer conversations in the CRM software
• Coordinate with our Dealer Schedulers to communicate scheduling needs
• Contribute to manufacturer promotions by training participating program Dealers
