**What you'll do:**
**In this role, you will:**
- Develop, deliver, and facilitate in-person and virtual technical classes including wiring techniques, safety, and drawing reading.
- Support and coordinate training events, including but not limited to, set-up, scheduling, travel, equipment, and material needs in conjunction with training coordinators and other personnel.
- Create, maintain, and update curricula, lesson plans, and classroom reference materials.
- Work closely and collaborate with EHS, HR, and Operations leaders at Eaton manufacturing plants and directly with customers to ensure the employee training and learning experience aligns with safety, onboarding, and technical upskilling needs.
- Conduct student evaluations, course evaluations, cost tracking, and continuous improvement efforts within training programs
**Qualifications:**
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ High School Diploma or higher with at least 7 years of experience wiring, installing or maintaining industrial and commercial power systems equipment such as Switchboards or Control Cabinets.
+ Must have experience training or managing a team of wirers that were required to meet IPC-620 standards.
+ Must hold an IPC-620 certification.
+ Must be able to work in the US without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.
+ Preference will be given to candidates residing in the El, Paso, TX area. For candidates not residing in that area, anticipated travel will be 75%.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- 10+ years of experience wiring, evaluating, testing, installing, or maintaining industrial and commercial power systems equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of IPC and other industry standards on control wiring found in industry equipment
- Advanced power systems, relaying, or switchgear testing experience

The Department is home to the Master of Athletic Training (MAT) program as well as four undergraduate programs: Exercise Science, Health Science, Physical Education, and Public Health (BPH). The right candidate will serve as a core faculty member in the MAT program and fulfill the role of Clinical Education Coordinator (CEC). This candidate will teach graduate courses in the Master of Athletic Training program, and undergraduate courses in support of the Bachelor of Public Health. Successful candidates will be eligible for appointment at the rank of either Assistant Professor (tenure-track) or Professor of Practice (non-tenure track).
The Master of Athletic Training program at Norwich University is a CAATE-accredited professional program with accreditation through 2031. The MAT at Norwich University develops individuals who use the knowledge and skills gained to prevent, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate health conditions utilizing evidence-based practice such that patients benefit from a safe and efficacious return to activities and lifestyle. Being a senior military institute, we embrace the unique student population consisting of civilian students and a Corps of cadets and incorporate care of the military personnel into our curriculum and clinical work.
The Bachelor of Public Health program is a 120-credit undergraduate degree program that provides students with engaging science-based foundational knowledge of health and public health. The program provides students the opportunity to expand beyond foundational public health content by taking courses in health promotion/disease prevention and disaster planning/crisis management. We seek a passionate individual with knowledge and skills in emergency response, disaster preparedness, and/or crisis management to assist in inspiring our students to make a positive impact in their communities every day.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include:
* Oversee clinical education in the MAT as set forth by the CAATE requirements
* Serving as a core faculty member in the MAT program. In this role the successful candidate will:
* Advise and mentor students in the MAT and department,
* Participate in the MAT programmatic assessment,
* Collaborate with the Program Director in updating MAT programmatic policies,
* Engaging in scholarship/professional development in support of the programs' mission.
* Instruction in the Master of Athletic Training program and undergraduate courses that serve the BPH.
* A tenure-track faculty member typically teaches seven three-credit courses across the 9-month contract, engages in scholarship, and provides service to the institution at the department, college, and university level.
* Professors of Practice focus primarily on teaching and typically teach ten 3-credit courses across the 9-month contract. Teaching release may be provided for service obligations in support of the department.
* Course release equivalent to two 3-credit courses across the academic year is granted for administrative duties related to the CEC position.
* Collaborate with the Program Director for Public Health programs, to meet Public Health programming needs and assist in the CEPH accreditation process, as needed.
* Other responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director and/or Department Chair
* There are opportunities to instruct courses outside of the 9-month contract in support of the MAT and BPH programs.

Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have:
* For a tenure-track position, the candidate must have an earned Doctoral degree with a health-related focus and a minimum of a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree; or be willing to complete a Master of Public Health program to enhance their support of the BPH.
* For a Professor of Practice, the candidate must have a Master degree with a health-related focus resulting in advanced practice within Athletic Training and have a minimum of a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree; or be willing to complete a Master of Public Health program to enhance their support of the BPH.
* Athletic training faculty must be certified and in good standing with the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers, have a National Provider Identification (NPI) number, and possess Vermont state licensure as an Athletic Trainer at time of employment.
* Three (3) years of full-time clinical experience in Athletic Training
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience teaching at the undergraduate and master's levels.
* Experience as a Clinical Education Coordinator for a CAATE-accredited program; or

Facilitator responsibilities include:
* Prepare and facilitate community of practice (CoP) sessions via online platforms for early childhood and/or afterschool professionals on identified topics
* Collect and share resources and recommendations identified by participants during the CoP
* Ensure appropriate attendance and evaluation tasks are completed and data are submitted to Northern Lights at CCV staff
* Work collaboratively with your Northern Lights Resource Advisor during the planning and implementation stages of CoP delivery
Requirements
All Northern Lights at CCV trainers and facilitators must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree with a master's degree preferred.
Deep knowledge in one or more content areas relevant to early childhood and afterschool professionals and experience in adult instruction is required. Experience working directly with the early childhood or afterschool field is preferred.

* If you are currently a member of the Instructor Registry, please include your level. If you are not currently a member, please indicate if you are willing to join.
* Include a list of the content areas in which you have deep knowledge and experience.
* Trainer candidates, please include your education and/or experience related to adult instruction. This could include courses or degrees focused on adult instruction and/or previous experience teaching adults.
* Facilitator candidates, please include a description of your education and/or experience in facilitation. If you have experience facilitating groups of early childhood and/or afterschool professionals please include that as well.
