ABOUT THE JOB:

The Training and Onboarding Consultant is responsible for live classroom facilitation and logistics management for the general onboarding program at Children's Health. This position serves as an ambassador for new team members in the organization and collaborates with many stakeholders (e.g., members of the Learning Institute, Human Resources and operational leaders) to ensure new hires have a positive experience assimilating into the organization. The role is also responsible for facilitating a variety of assigned educational sessions in virtual and in-person formats, as well as actively participating in training improvement projects. This position will ensure learning outcomes by checking for understanding and skills acquisition, regularly reviewing evaluations, shifting delivery style to fit learner needs and making recommendations for continuous improvement.

This is a remote position with expectation to come on-site as often as needed to facilitate trainings, etc. (likely 2 - 4+ times per month).

Responsibilities:

* Manage the execution of New Employee Onboarding, at the system level, addressing all details such as communication, pre-work, post-work, logistics, resources, materials, questions, and trouble shooting.
* Work with stakeholders, coordinate, host and deliver New Team Member Onboarding and other learning events.
* Guide the journey of new hires over the course of their onboarding experience, which includes being the point person for employee questions and moderating learning cohorts in the LMS.
* In partnership with Instructional Design. ensure onboarding and other learning resources remain up to date.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of new employee onboarding and other training events, continuously identifying, proposing or implementing opportunities for improvement.
* Oversee and facilitate assigned classes, which includes session communication pre/post work, room set up / takedown, roster management, evaluations and course coverage.
* Deliver training using various learning methodologies and facilitation best practices (i.e., deliver feedback in a constructive manner that encourages self-discovery and continued learning; create a positive learning climate in which participants feel safe to try new skills; establish credibility by demonstrating familiarity with course content).
* Manage the physical learning environment (e.g., LMS enrollment/scheduling, room logistics, and selecting equipment conducive to optimal learning).
* Remain up to date on corporate learning, healthcare industry and Children's Health news by regularly reading internal communications, attending group meetings, and gathering information from professional organizations and other channels.

About the role

As a Training Consultant, your role is to ensure that users are ready to hit the ground running as their organization launches Outreach or brings new teams on board. Partnering with Outreach's Professional Services, Customer Success, and other teams, you'll work across a variety of customer personas and market segments to identify training needs and deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to frontline Outreach users.

Location: This is a hybrid role based out of our Seattle office.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

* Partner with Outreach Customer Success, Professional Services, and Partners to understand specific requirements for training engagements
* Facilitate Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) sessions with Outreach customers--these may be done in a public group webinar context, or individualized to a specific customer and team
* Lead training sessions across a variety of roles within an organization from newly hired SDRs to veteran management staff
* Deliver on-site Instructor-Led training sessions with travel up to 50% - 75% of the time (when safe to do so)
* Actively and continuously learn about product functionality, workflows, and Best Practices
* Proactively provide feedback and suggestions for updates to Training methodology
* Act as SME and partner with the instructional design team to ensure all customer facing content delivers a consistent Cx and showcases Outreach's value and best practices

Our Vision of You:

* You have 2+ years of experience delivering customer training/facilitation, ideally experience working in Customer Success, Education/Enablement, Sales, and/or Professional Services. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must
