The Training and Development Specialist Sr provides instruction and support in Loma Linda University Health's values, applications, and best practices to ensure clinical and administrative staff are operating at the highest levels. Contributes to the development of structured training programs and materials that pertain to all aspects of electronic health record system applications. Incorporates a variety of instructional methods including but not limited to lecture, audio/visual, workbook formats, and computer-guided tutorials. Initiates training communications, tip sheets, newsletters, and calendars. Manages the outpatient training queue and assists the LLEAP project team in solving training-related issues while maintaining extensive knowledge of systems and processes. Mentors other Training and Development Specialists in curriculum content and adult learning theory based on a sound understanding of industry best practices. Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field required, experience may be in lieu of degree. Minimum three years of experience in curriculum design or classroom presentation preferred.

To conduct and develop technical service training materials and classes on Sullair rotary screw industrial air compressors for customers, distributors and employees. Work with subject matter experts to develop entry and advanced level content for online and in-person delivery. Position reports directly to the Service Training Supervisor.
Position based in Michigan City, Indiana with up to 60% travel to conduct training courses in the field.
Duties and responsibilities:
Conduct internal and external factory training classes with a primary focus on portable oil-flooded and oil-free rotary screw air compressors Travel to field-based training locations throughout North America as necessary to support demand Follow standard work for pre- and post-course preparation (submit billing, enter test scores and act as administrator on a Learning Management System, order breakfast, lunch, training materials, swag, etc.) Deliver training content with student safety practices and procedures in mind Develop and continuously refine live and electronic training content and materials Work with engineering, service, product management, etc. to stay informed of latest product developments and applications Automate business processes and reporting metrics Deliver regular status updates on all active projects to Sullair management Work on a team to manage logistics and scheduling of factory and on-site training sessions Handle customer training inquiries via department phone and email queues
