The National Security and Space Division of SAIC currently has a full-time position for a Cyberspace Training Facilitator to support the United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), Fort Meade, Maryland. The successful candidate will be responsible for customizing course content for senior military and civilian leaders.

+ Plans, develops, evaluates, and updates training programs, course content and materials

+ Implements methodologies to improve the instructional design process

JT4 provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. We develop and maintain realistic integrated test and training environments, and prepare our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapon's systems and air crews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
**Please note: this position is located at China Lake and is not eligible for telework/remote work**



JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES


Provide training support and leadership for assigned contract(s). Provide support including the test, evaluation, validation and certification of training devices.


Lead development of training curriculum and documentation to ensure development is in accordance with specifications. Develop and update program training schedules and milestones; develop training presentations and issue papers. Participate in or supervise the testing, inspection, and installation of training devices. Provide expert level technical assessment of training devices and report results to customer. Facilitate training programs to selected workforce segments and assess results. Develop and implement equipment facility requirements, system specifications, development specifications and other program documentation. Develop training device engineering change proposals. Provide work direction to lower level training personnel. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

WORKING CONDITIONS


This position involves work typical of an office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting (up to 30 pounds), constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. The incumbent must be able to work duty days in excess of eight hours and perform shift and weekend work to meet required schedule demands. The position may require travel.


REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE



Level I:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Education or a technical discipline, or equivalent formal training and experience and at least 2 years of job-related training experience.


Level II:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Education or a technical discipline, or equivalent formal training and experience and at least 4 years of job-related training experience. .


Level III:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Education or a technical discipline, or equivalent formal training and experience and at least 7 years of job-related training experience.


Level IV
: Bachelors Degree in Business, Education or a technical discipline, and at least 10 years of job-related training experience.


Common Requirements:



Excellent communication skills and proficiency in operating application software including word-processing and spreadsheet programs are required. Possess planning/organizing skills, must be able to work under deadlines, and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance and possess a valid state issued driver's license.
