Company Profile: Expanding Business Genetic Testing Director of Compliance Role: Develop, implement, and manage a complete Compliance Program to prevent and detect illegal, unethical or improper conduct. Consult and work closely with legal team to leverage the compliance function. Perform periodic review of Compliance Program budget and staffing levels in order to ensure it is adequately resourced and empowered to function effectively. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and other privacy regulations. Develop an audit program and compliance monitoring used to ensure internal controls, mitigate risk and correct non-conformance. Serve as an expert on compliance topics. Work with Human Resources and other company leaders to develop a compliance training program. Coordinate and interact with federal and state regulators on compliance issues. Plan, implement, and oversee risk-related programs. Create and coordinate proper channels for reporting of compliance issues. Foster commitment by senior and middle management.
