Responsible for the collection of appropriate physical cards, emergency medical authorization forms and code of conduct for all players.
Use the offensive and defensive philosophy as provided by the head coach.
Carry required emergency forms for all players, scorekeepers and managers for all practices and games.
Responsible for the distribution and collection of all equipment.
Communicate your team selection to the head coach prior to announcing to your players.

JOB SUMMARY
The Strength and Conditioning Coach will develop, implement, and supervise comprehensive strength and conditioning programs for Cleveland State Community College's current varsity sports teams include men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, and golf, along with any additional sports teams introduced at the college.
The coach will ensure individualized, sport-specific training that prioritizes student-athlete safety, injury prevention, and optimal performance in collaboration with athletic trainers and head coaches of each sports team.
This is a temporary part-time position requiring 10 hours of work per week over a 9-month contract term. The contract runs from August 1st to November 30th and from January 1st to May 31st. The months of December, June, and July are not included in the working schedule.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Design and oversee group and individual strength, speed, agility, and conditioning programs for all six athletics teams.
Supervise workouts to ensure correct technique and safety practices; integrate rehabilitation plans for injured or recovering athletes in coordination with the Athletic Trainer.
Monitor progress through standardized strength metrics, testing, and data tracking for each sport program.
Communicate with sport coaches to coordinate scheduling and program adjustments according to team competition and academic calendars.
Educate student-athletes on injury prevention strategies, nutrition basics, and healthy lifestyle habits.
Ensure compliance with institutional and athletic association policies, including Title IX standards and athletic safety best practices.

EQUIPMENT

Provide ongoing supportive consultations and prevention case management services delivered either virtually or through a combination of phone calls, emails, skype, or in-person through individual meetings, including but not limited to:
Assessing and administering universal screenings, financial literacy training, and/or concrete supports.
Universal screenings will assess families for trauma, substance use, and mental health. The tools utilized may include but are limited to: the Adverse Childhood Experience (ACEs) Survey; the Child Trauma Assessment Checklist (CTAC); UNCOPE (substance abuse screening); and a mental health screening tool.
Provide short-term, intensive, in-home services:
Provide interested families a series of one to two home visits each month and access to the full array of the six pillars (family coaching, parent education, basic life skills, financial literacy, service referrals, and concrete supports) of service delivery.
Serve as a Family Coach to develop a prevention services plan, outlining the families' goals and will utilize evidence-based programming to enhance the families' protective factors and increase the family's stability.
Provide parenting programming and facilitate access to Life Skills training, as well as Family Coaching, which will incorporate Motivational Interviewing to assist the family in moving towards behavioral change.
All families engaged in Family Success Network services will work with a Family Coach who will complete the following tasks, as agreed upon by the family:
assess the strengths and needs of families
provide concrete support in times of need
develop and work with families on family success plans
provide financial literacy
utilize trainings to engage families and address identified needs, including but not limited to Triple P, Transition to Independence Process Model, Motivational Interviewing, and Strengthening Families Framework

Manage an ongoing caseload of up to 30 families at one time, engaged in and receiving services.
Attend meetings amongst collaborative members.
Develop rapport with local social service partners and community resources to build and maintain a professional, responsive relationship with key community partners.
Document services consistent with requirements of OCTF Program Manager and FSN Program Manager.
Submit regular programmatic and fiscal reports to the Program Manager, as well as to other identified partners requesting data.
Actively engage with family and child serving systems, including attendance at community meetings, such as Family and Children First Council.
Represent the OCTF at any required national and local trainings and meetings.
Serve as point of contact for the county of service; and

Overview of Position The role of the Head Cheerleading Coach is to teach the cheerleading team to promote school spirit and encouragement of Moeller athletic teams. Moeller High School sees the role of the Cheerleading Coach as being someone who, in addition to having a high level of knowledge in coaching the sport of cheerleading, can teach and model all the aspects of the Moller Mission. Position Summary
The high school girls golf coach is responsible for leading, teaching, and mentoring high school student-athletes in the girls golf program. The coach will promote the development of fundamental skills, proper technique, sportsmanship, and character, while fostering a competitive environment for the kids to succeed.
Primary Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and supervise all practices, matches, and team activities for the high school team.
Teach fundamental skills, technique, and conditioning appropriate for high school athletes.
Promote academic achievement, positive behavior, and personal growth among student-athletes.
Communicate effectively with players, parents, staff, and administrators.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes through proper supervision and adherence to school and OHSAA policies.
Organize and maintain equipment, uniforms, and facilities.
Serve as a role model, displaying professionalism, integrity, and leadership at all times.
Meet all Bryan City Schools and OHSAA coaching requirements, including completion of all required certifications and background checks.
Season Schedule
Seasonal, part-time position following the high school athletic calendar (typically August-October).

Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, staff, parents and community members.
Serve as a role model for student athletes in the promotion and practice of sportsmanship, ethical principles and responsible behavior.
Observe all safety and health regulations of the school district.
Follow the Athletic Director's rules and the applicable rules in the middle school student handbook.
Maintain the locker room facilities.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Other duties may be assigned by the Middle School Athletic Director or the Middle School Principal.
QUALIFICATIONS:

CPR certification with mandatory annual review.
