Summary
As a member of the Client Transition Services (CTS) team, this role handles moderate to complex data and asset transfer processes during new client plan conversions. Ensures timely and proper notification of cash flows to the Transamerica Retirement Services (TRS) Funding Group, and milestone task completion to project team members.
Responsibilities
Partner with clients, vendors, payroll providers and internal resources to gather data elements for migration.
Establish an ongoing data dialog, via payroll files, to maintain data elements.
Analyze and reconcile data received against documented plan rules.
Post transferred records from former record systems into company system; maintain auditable records of completed conversion steps.
Audit, analyze and perform data quality reviews for each conversion.
Maintain the NBI (new business intelligence) database and transaction calendar.
Participate in meetings with the Implementation staff.
Lead and/or participate in department projects and data-specific initiatives.
Manage large data conversion projects.
Maintain department tools and procedures as assigned.
Identify procedural issues/gaps and recommend solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the retirement services industry, including ongoing retirement plan administration, installations, conversions, 401(k) support, or client management.
Qualifications
Five years of experience in the financial services industry including working with electronic data files
Working knowledge of Paris or related database systems, and SQL (AQT).
Experience using Informatica or Pervasive software, or related systems.
Written and verbal communication skills to present information to internal and external stakeholders.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Word/Excel.
Experience constructing queries.

Compensation:
The salary for this position generally ranges between $70,000-$77,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
Bonus Eligibility:
This position is also typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion.

The PS&M team partners across asset class sleeves to add value by leading overall portfolio strategy, portfolio construction and analysis as well as analytics-driven decision-making focused on capital creation for private investments. This role has been created to both develop and enhance actionable insights leveraging data, technological capabilities, and quantitative techniques to drive value throughout the private investment process.
Responsibilities:
* Play an active and continuous role in the development of a best-in-class private markets portfolio management platform, fully integrating key systems and empowering the development of insights that drive alpha.
* Deliver real-time analysis and actionable insights to guide portfolio and investment decisions by synthesizing private market datasets and tools with academic research and external market perspectives.
* Partner with Product, Data and Technology teams to develop solutions and ensure practices and techniques are fully documented and institutionalized where applicable.
* Leverage latest technology, programming, and data visualization tools to improve analytical processes, optimize workflows, and enhance decision-making capabilities, often developing prototypes and MVP tools.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
* Drive continuous improvement by proactively challenging existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing automation solutions.
* Foster effective and consistent communication across the organization to promote innovation, encourage critical thinking, and support the execution of the private investment's mandate.
Qualifications
* Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience using core scientific computing libraries (pandas, NumPy, SciPy) for data transformation, analysis, and modeling.
* Experience working with financial and time-series data, including building, maintaining, and optimizing analytic workflows and data pipelines.
* In-depth experience in private market systems / data / tools / visualization / platforms (WSO, eFront, Aladdin a plus).
* Ability to work across teams to innovate collaboratively and to achieve desired results
* Excellent communication skills (written / verbal / presentation).
* Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and time-sensitive deliverables with a high degree of quality and accuracy.

How you'll help move us forward:
Day-to-day operational support for our Global Institutional Investment Group products:
Spread Lending, Stable Value, and Institutional Fixed Annuity
. This middle-office role is a crucial link between the front-office functions (ie sales / underwriting) and back-office functions by engaging in the complete product lifecycle, from trade execution to reporting.
Collaborate with colleagues, custodian banks, external parties, internal departments (Accounting, Audit, Treasury, Finance, Actuaries, Compliance, Law and Enterprise Risk Management) and other areas where necessary to ensure GIIG transactions, deliverables, and reporting are timely and accurately completed
Advance knowledge and thorough understanding of all common fixed income investments including trade execution and associated processes. Leverage your industry expertise to optimize process efficiency
Work with leaders, colleagues or independently to meet strict deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
Ability to analyze problems and find solutions using data. Statistical analysis, data modeling, and data cleaning
Produce analysis and dashboard reporting, management reports / presentations, and adhoc reporting
The experience you bring:
7+ years of experience working in investment operations/middle office role in asset management or investment banking
College degree in finance, accounting, or similar discipline, is preferred
Thorough understanding of fixed-income investments, including trading workflows and systems involved
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in performing all responsibilities by following documented processes and procedures, while exhibiting attention to detail and accuracy
Advanced research and resolution skills, including familiarity with legal documents
Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Statutory (STAT) relating to securities investments
