JOB SUMMARY
The Metal Processing Operator supports daily production in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment. This role is responsible for handling and preparing revert (recycled metal), assisting furnace operations, and performing basic equipment tasks. All training is provided. This is an excellent opportunity to gain foundational manufacturing experience with long-term growth potential.
What You'll Be Doing:
* You will be inspecting, cleaning, sorting, resizing, and weighing recycled metals "revert" to prepare for the melting process
* Operate basic equipment (grinders, analyzers, cut-off saws) after training
* Record weights, batch data, and traceability information
* Organize, stage, label, and prepare materials for furnace charging
* Assist furnace operators by safely delivering charge materials
* Safely operate cranes, hoists, and forklifts (training provided)

Assist with bringing supplies and materials to the production line. (i.e., boxes, pallets, bulk bins, film and other supplies required to package product). 30 minutes
Label weigh, store all regrind and raw materials at designated areas. 30 minutes
Assist with relieving other Associates for breaks. 3 associates plus himself x 75 minutes = 300 / 60 = 5 hours
Remove all trash and cardboard from the packing area by the end of shift. 45 minutes
Grind scrap sheet and bad product accumulated. Varies in time base on how the lines or running. 1 hour
Assist the Line Operator in starting the line. 30 minutes
Assist with maintaining good housekeeping of the line, replacing oil pads on the forming station and around the Trimpress. 1 hour

MISSION / SUMMARY:
The Paper Machine Supervisor provides supervision and direction to 11 - 15 employees as well as planning and controlling production performance as measured by key performance indicators. In addition, they ensure compliance to established safety rules/policies, customer quality and production specifications. The Manufacturing Supervisor provides leadership and supervision to production work teams and serves as the link to plant management for the team. MISSION / SUMMARY:

+ Accurate and timely submission of daily pay period time records. Resolve all ADP time exceptions prior to end of pay period.
+ Oversees vacation schedule to ensure proper coverage is secured
+ Initiates new hire evaluations at 60 and 90 days providing accurate feedback related to performance.
+ Participates on interview panels as needed.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**SCHEDULE DEMANDS:**
+ General Production Supervisor schedules consist of 12-hour rotating days - generally includes every other weekend off, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or off weekends and be punctual while doing so.
