Melinda White is a driven and poised Executive with a 20+ year progressive career in senior leadership, with strengths in strategy, operations, finance, product, marketing and consumer/commercial sales. Known for her collaborative and inclusive leadership style, Melinda possesses the ability to attract, develop and lead organizational talent. She is a thought leader across 5G, Smart Networks, P3 (public private partnership), and edge strategy. Melinda brings an entrepreneurial perspective to the operation, seeking new ideas, products, and processes to better meet the demands of the market.

Keith Friedman has more than 20 years of experience providing financial and operational leadership for global infrastructure companies. Prior to joining Transit Wireless, Mr. Friedman served as CFO for the Global Infrastructure Services business unit of Computer Sciences Corporation, accountable for one-third of revenues and profits for the company. He previously spent 13 years at Avaya in a variety of roles including Vice President & CFO for the Avaya Global Services business unit, accountable for one-half of company revenues and profits. Mr. Friedman worked his way up and around Avaya serving as Director of several different areas spanning accounting, financial planning & analysis, investor relations, mergers & acquisitions, and treasury functions. He started his career at Deloitte & Touche before joining Avaya. Mr. Friedman is a Certified Public Accountant with a B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University.

Jeff Garte serves as the CFO of Transit Wireless, responsible for all aspects of finance and IT.

Jeff joined Transit Wireless with over twenty years of financial and operational experience in public and private companies with domestic and international operations. He brings a focus on connecting operational actions with financial results to drive strategic outcomes.

Prior to joining Transit Wireless, Jeff was CFO of Globecomm. He has also held various senior financial roles at Hibernia Networks, AboveNet Communications and CSC ServiceWorks. He began his career in the investment banking divisions at Evercore and UBS.

Jeff holds an undergraduate degree from Hamilton College and an MBA from Columbia University.

Jyoti Mahurkar-Thombre serves as Chief Technology Officer of Transit Wireless, responsible for technology strategy, including engineering, network operations, R&D, and product development.

Jyoti comes to Transit Wireless with more than 30 years of global technology experience. She was previously CTO of Landis+Gyr, a recognized leader in smart metering technologies. Prior to that, she served in roles of increasing responsibility at Alcatel-Lucent and Nokia, including as President of APAC Global Customer Delivery and Vice President of Wireless R&D.

Jyoti’s areas of expertise are in telecommunications, wireless networks, R&D, and services. She has worked across the globe and completed assignments in New Zealand, Shanghai, Switzerland and the United States.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from the University of Illinois and holds master’s degrees in computer science and engineering management from Northwestern University.
