Job Description Operate a commercial delivery truck over an established route to deliver such items as beer and non-alcoholic drinks to customer's place of business. Collect money from customers, make change, and record transactions on customer receipt. Record delivery information on daily delivery record. Prepare order forms. Listen to and resolve service complaints. Place stock on shelves or racks. Set up merchandise and point of sale displays or issue point of sale materials to customers. Collect or pick up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise. Issue or obtain customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery. Clean inside of truck. Local/Home Daily Truck Driver (Dedicated Account) We are currently seeking professional, serious minded and dependable Class A CDL truck drivers who are ready to start work in 1 week. Drivers will be running a mix of dry and refrigerated NO TOUCH freight in a 350 mile radius of the DC. States served will include LA, TX, MS, AL and FL. 1700-1800 MPW. A typical workday will include 1-3 routes per day with 1-3 stops each and potentially a 10 hour break on the road each week. Drivers on this account are home daily. MUST BE WILLING TO WORK NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS Requirements: ·Must have a minimum of 3 full months solo verifiable Class A tractor trailer driving experience. Driver cannot have any preventable CMV accidents during this time and can be with no more than 2 carriers during this time. · We will also accept 6-12 months solo OTR experience in the last 3 years and 6 months local experience in the last 12 months. · Must have a very good BG and MVR and must be able to pass ALL DOT related pre-screenings. Stable job history required. Drivers will work a 6 day work week and are off for a 34 hour reset weekly during the week. Once you arrive on site, your TM will meet with you to coordinate your weekly scheduled days off. Drivers will slip seat in a day cab and will need a reliable personal vehicle to and from the DC. Our DC has 24/7 on-site staff, including safety support and a shop. Newer automatic tractors. All trucks receive a pre-seat 6 point inspection and are cleaned thoroughly before new dedicated drivers are seated after completing orientation. On the job training will consist of in-classroom training for 1 day and 2-3 days of ride-along training at $100 per day.
