Job Description At Bulkmatic you are more than just a truck driver. You'll operate pneumatic equipment, manage relationships with customers and be empowered to make the right decisions for your deliveries - All while being part of a team that leads in the dry bulk shipping industry. Home Time: At our Hopkinsville location our drivers do primarily LOCAL work for a Dedicated account. Drivers at this location are expected to be HOME DAILY. There will be times that there is an occasional night out on the road based on customer needs. Currently the drivers average one night out per month. When there is a need for the driver to stay out overnight, Bulkmatic provides a hotel room and a per diem for all overnight stays. There is some weekend work and drivers should expect to work an average of one weekend per month. First and foremost, we pride ourselves on building a reputation of safety, and we expect our drivers to operate each truck in a safe and responsible manner at all times. Cell phone use must be hands-free when the vehicle is on the road. Every driver must be drug-free and submit to a pre-employment drug screening as well as random screenings throughout the year. Prior dump truck experience is preferred but not required, but the ideal candidate will have a clean driving record.
