**Job Duties**
+ Drive and operate a tractor-trailer and/or flatbed delivery truck with a tilt-bed for ground deliveries as well as dock deliveries in a safe manner.
+ Load equipment and parts onto truck for delivery. Secure load with straps, chains, and binders as needed. Ensure that load is within rated capacity of delivery truck and load does not exceed maximum height requirements.
+ Deliver equipment and parts to various locations as instructed and safely unload equipment.
+ Perform daily pre-trip inspections of delivery truck and keep daily driver's log.
+ Ensure all paperwork, including bills of lading, match the equipment being transported and obtain proper signatures.
+ Keep delivery truck clean and presentable. Maintain safety equipment supplied with the truck. Perform minor maintenance and repairs to the truck. May assist with keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ A valid Class A driver's license with a hazardous material endorsement and good driving record
+ Ability to safely operate lift trucks
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Previous heavy equipment hauling experience preferred

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-minded Dump TruckDriver / Operator to support our pipe restoration and maintenance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for hauling excavation debris, aggregate materials, and equipment to and from job sites. What You'll Do
Safely operate dump trucks to transport soil, gravel, debris, and other materials related to pipe repair, replacement, and maintenance
Assist crews by delivering and removing materials from trenching, pipe laying, and site restoration activities
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues
Maintain communication with site supervisors to coordinate load delivery and material pickup
Work in tight, urban, or residential environments, often near active underground utility lines
Follow environmental regulations for handling and disposing of excavated materials
Ensure truck loads are secure and within legal weight limits
Keep accurate records of loads, deliveries, mileage, and hours of service
Support general labor or equipment duties on site when not driving, as needed

3-5 years of experience operating commercial vehicles

Summary

Operate dump truck safely and efficiently on public highways and in off-road situations to deliver asphalt or aggregate material into asphalt paver, widener, stone box, storage bins or onto stockpiles.

Adhere to all DOT rules and regulations in addition to company policies.

Perform daily pre-trip inspections of delivery truck and keep daily driver's log.
