Make starch as needed per company formula. Check viscosities on corrugator and at starch station as necessary. Accurately record daily starch checklist. Maintain the waste water treatment facility. Monitor inventory levels of starch and chemicals. Read related MSDS and learn proper response for emergency chemical spills or skin contact. Assist in the wet end training of the doublebacker and dry end personnel. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping. This position requires drivers to load, transport, and deliver products, including cement, lime, and fly ash in pneumatic trailers to various mines and aggregate sites throughout Arizona and New Mexico. Drivers are typically home daily and run local and regional routes. Drivers are responsible for completing thorough pre-and post-trip inspections. We operate 24/7/365. Work schedules vary, depending on business needs. Weekend work is required. Load assignments are given based on hours of service available. Respirators (PPE) are distributed by CTI and are used to protect employees from those occupational hazards caused by breathing contaminated air (harmful dust, fogs, fumes, mists, gases, smokes, sprays, or vapors).
