The Class A Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to local and out-of-state stores. Job Title: Truck Driver Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt, Full Time Direct Supervisor: Dispatcher The Truck Driver position involves the operation of specialized equipment to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of products to customers or the transfer of materials between terminals and manufacturing sites for production. The Driver is responsible for the secure handling and transportation of various commodities, including Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Soda Solution), Sodium Hypochlorite Solution (Bleach), Chlorine (in bulk and ton containers), wastewater, and other freight, with strict adherence to safety and load securement protocols. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Essential Responsibilities: Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on tractor and trailer, including completing Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) and logging them properly in the electronic logging device (ELD).
