The Transportation Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the transportation department to ensure efficient, timely, and compliant delivery operations. Job Responsibilities include: Truck Check-In Inspect each returning truck for Cleanliness, strip curtain placement and any visible damages, both interior and exterior. Verify the status of product returning properly document. Driver Compliance Ensure drivers have properly used Samsara and ExtenData systems. Ensure that all drivers are in full uniform upon return to the facility. Vehicle Inspection Inspect cab interiors as well as exterior for damages. Confirm that back doors are closed when parked and box lights are turned off. Fuel Island & Dock Monitoring Monitor fuel island, ensuring that entry pad door is closed during inclement weather. Monitor the dock doors 10 and 11 for cleanliness and organization. Inventory & Supplies Responsible for ordering DEF, oil, windshield washer fluid, funnels, automatic transmission fluid and any other necessary supplies.
