PROGRAM: Expedited Trucking / Priority Transportation Services
EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Exempt
SUPERVISED BY: Operations Manager
COMPENSATION: $14.00 - $35.00 per hour payable biweekly commensurate on experience.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
ANTICIPATED TRAVEL: 15% of the time. There is no additional compensation for travel.
SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for selling Expedited Trucking freight transportation services through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas. The inside sales representative will reach business targets through telephone sales and communication skills. This individual will also grow logistics sales for Expedited by following up on sales leads, dormant customers, prospect lists, and ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers.
Responsibilities and Competencies
- WARM leads, follow up call to prospects
- Upsell Current Customers additional services
- Cold-Call prospects generated by external lead sources
- Overcome objections of prospective customers.
- Emphasize Expedited service features, advantages, and benefits to customers & prospects.
- Generate and organize sales leads. Provide status reports as requested
- Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the sales database using Salesforce.
- Maintain daily customer relationships to assigned accounts, acting as primary contact and re-directing to other departments as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales goals
