• Service level agreement to respond to customers in a specified time (2-4 hours max)
• Definitely need to have customer facing skills. Cannot go off on customers and will look for interpersonal skills heavily.
• Building own version of a Fedex basically. Offering Amazon capacity to other suppliers and shippers to external customers. (dumbed down)
• Instant messaging internal stake holders to effectively execute these movements, in amazon yards, in customers yards, and on the road nationally.
• Will help coordinate shipments and problem solve to get trucks to customers quicker if one breaks down or is lost in transit.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
A completed Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, or equivalent experience
MS Office experience required, with intermediate level in Excel
Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
Must be flexible to work some weekend shifts as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Engineering, Operations, Logistics or related field
2+ years work experience in logistics/transportation industry
Expertise in MS Access and SQL
Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma
Experience in manufacturing, transportation, customer service, and/or distribution environments.
Data management & data quality control experience with experience pulling and analyzing large sets of data
Demonstrated experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement.
A self-starter who loves data and who enjoys spotting the trends in it!

This position is located in our Redlands, CA facility. This is a full time position working 2nd shift, 1:00pm to 9:30pm. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.
