What Does A Transportation Director Do At Sysco Corp

* Direct the daily work and safety of Delivery supervisors, routing personnel and other associates.
* Ensure that management staff is effectively managing day to day delivery activities, including but not limited to: Delivery Associate adherence to standard operating procedures, adherence to planned routes, and providing safe and efficient customer service.
* Ensure Delivery Associate compliance with local, state and federal regulatory agencies (i.e. DOT, OSHA, etc.) and ensure that electronic logs are kept current and accurate.
