**Paid Relocation To: Millsboro, DE**

Responsible for on time and damage free delivery of all Mountaire refrigerated poultry to end customers, distribution warehouses, third party freezers and intra-company transfers to Mountaire operations. Responsible for all activity and performance of company owned, dedicated freight, and non-contract truckload carriers engaged in the delivery of Mountaire poultry for domestic sale. Responsible for all (*regulatory compliance) for Mountaire-owned and leased equipment and drivers; including Live Haul, Feed Haul, Breeder and Hatchery operations. Oversees all areas of Fleet Operations including DOT regulatory compliance, vehicle and equipment purchasing and maintenance, selection and performance management of Fleet Operations Managers and Dispatch Manager, Feed, Grain, Live, Breeder and Hatchery facilities driver's performance and schedules.

**Duties/Activities Required by Job**

+ Responsible for on time damage free delivery of Mountaire refrigerated product to Multiple internal/external customers through Company and third party providers. Oversees all areas of Fleet Operations including DOT regulatory compliance, vehicle and equipment purchasing and maintenance, selection and performance management of Fleet Operations Managers and Dispatch Manager. Manages third party agreements for Dressed and Live Haul.

+ Works with Accounting to establish budgets, capital and M&R plans. Works with Risk to establish third party contracts and legal on legal matters. Responsible for financial planning/forecasting for area of responsibility.

+ Safety / Fleet Operations- Responsible for all regulatory/DOT compliance for Mountaire-owned and leased equipment and drivers; including Live Haul, Feed Haul, Breeder and Hatchery operations. Oversees all safety programs for Fleet Operations. Responsible for oversight on Company safety and environmental programs.

+ Established Metrics-reports, analysis, recommend changes for improvement

+ People Management - provides overall direction and support to the Transportation team to achieve operational and safety goals. Guides training & development activities related to Transportation Operations to develop competence and commitment.

**Educations/Experience Requirements**

+ Bachelors Degree or Higher in Related Discipline; Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain

The candidate will lead a civil engineering team, assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies, and coordinate workshare with offices across the West Coast. They will provide coordinated leadership with other local and national business line leaders for the pursuit of transportation focused highway, bridge, roadway corridor, transit and rail, multi-modal and aviation-based transportation improvements, as well as support our clients and project opportunities for all of WSP's services.

**Your Impact**

+ Assist in the management, growth and development of the Civil Engineering team.

+ Provide leadership within the office, partnering closely with other Local Business Leaders and Senior Management Team.

+ Focus on meeting Key Performance Indicators and contribute to the overall success of the Southwest Mountain District and West Region.

+ Guide staff and assist in project management responsibilities, including oversight of project financial performance, adherence to project management and quality control plans, and adequacy of risk management plans.

+ Provide leadership and oversight to ensure quality project deliverables, including PS&E documents, engineering reports, project memorandums, etc.

+ Coordinate with other design disciplines, and workshare with other offices in Colorado and the West Coast.

+ Prepare and/or oversee scope, schedule and budget preparation and negotiations, as well as plans, specifications, estimates and/or bid packages.

+ Perform quality assurance/quality control, ensuring that cost, schedule, and quality objectives are met for engineering activities and are commensurate with quality standards, and client requirements.

+ Maintain schedule, budget, and profitability for projects, and identify changes and risks.

+ Work closely with clients to meet and exceed their expectations.

+ Support business development initiatives and assist with marketing.

+ Mentor junior staff.

+ Serve as Project Manager on transportation projects for clients.
