Golden Pass LNG, a joint venture of Qatar Energy & ExxonMobil, has an exciting opportunity for Operations Shift Superintendent at our Sabine Pass, TX location (approximately 10 minutes from Port Arthur, TX). We are looking for team members that have a proven track record of providing support, have strong intrapersonal and communication skills, and are self-motivated and self-directed to be a part of our transformation from an import facility to the premier LNG exporter in North America. The Operations Shift Superintendent is a 2nd line supervisor reporting to the Plant Operations Manager, with all shift supervisors reporting to them. The role is responsible for delivering safe, and reliable operation of the LNG liquefaction plant. They will participate in all aspects of plant operations including, but not limited to, manage critical operations, and stewarding safe work. The Operations Shift Superintendent will work with the Operations Manager and other Superintendents to deliver stewardship targets, support turnaround needs and comply with regulatory and Management System requirements. The analyzer/measurement technician will be responsible for all analyzer instruments and equipment. This person will also be held accountable for all aspects of gas measurement within the facility, including but not limited to, the day-to-day upkeep and calibration of analytical sampling, measurement and telemetry equipment and safe operations of the Golden Pass Terminal. The Machinery Engineer, reporting to the Machinery & Reliability Engineering Supervisor, serves as a technical authority for machinery. This role involves input to maintenance strategies and planning, enhancing system performance utilizing various surveillance tools. Additionally, the Machinery Engineer collaborates within the Company to promote continuous improvement in asset maintenance and operations, ensuring optimal asset availability. This position has responsibilities during the Operations Readiness stage and will phase Operations support after plant start up. The Machinery Engineer will support all rotating equipment within Golden Pass, including the new LNG Plant, Pipeline compression facilities, and the existing Import terminal. Key scope during Operations Readiness stage includes assessing equipment criticality, developing equipment strategies, developing crash plans, developing maintenance programs, and commissioning support. Post LNG plant start up, the Machinery Engineer is expected to continue to support the base business through troubleshooting field issues, conducting failure analysis, initiating facilities modifications based on safety, reliability or production drivers, and shutdown support. 1. Minimum Requirements Minimum education required of the position: * Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent industry experience Minimum experience required of the position: * 5-10 years of experience in a rotating equipment role at an Oil & Gas facility, including LNG facilities (preferred), refineries, offshore, or gas processing facilities. * Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, in particular heavy duty gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, large pumps, and vibration monitoring systems. * Knowledge of oil and gas industry codes and practices. * Oil and Gas industry safety standards and requirements. Job description Welder II will be qualified on all processes and in all positions for the different processes and on a vast array of material including P1, P8, P10H and nickel alloys. Master welder will be capable and willing to perform all task, without backlash, and in a timely manner, including welding root passes, back gouging, cleanup of back gouge roots, tube to tube joints, tube to tube sheet joints not including QW-193, structural welds, and other pressure retaining welds used in the fabrication of equipment for our customers. Welder II MUST be able to interpret and follow welding procedures. Responsibilities: Select and safely use appropriate equipment suitable for work being performed. Perform all tasks related to welding. Maintain good housekeeping in work area. Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and properly stored or kept. Communicate with leadership all aspects and phases (safety, productivity, and quality) of work. Check completed work prior to final welding to ensure conformity to specifications.
