The most common degree for travel counselors is bachelor's degree with 49% graduates, with only 23% travel counselor graduates earning associate degree. Travel counselors who decided to graduate from college often finish University of Phoenix or Johnson & Wales University. Some good skills to have in this position include reservations, apollo and ground transportation.
