Summary: As a Barista at our upscale restaurant, you will be responsible for crafting and delivering high-quality beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other hot drinks. In addition to beverage preparation, you will ensure the barista station is meticulously clean, well-stocked, and organized, maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Set up coffee station with milk, milk alternatives. * Refill grinders with the appropriate coffee bins * Brew ice tea * Refill bottled water in fridge * Make tea bags with the prescribed amount of loose lead teas * Refill sugar caddies per the SOP * Check all coffee / tea cups / espresso cups + saucers * Ensure all coffee/tea spoons + demitasse spoons are clean and neatly stocked, all handles pointing the same direction * Ensure the fridges are clean and organized per the SOP * Ensure trash cans are clean * FIFO for all perishable items * Complete all other tasks as assigned by management. Requirements/Qualifications: * Ability to multi-task. * Must be a team player. * Self-motivated and performance driven. * Professionalism and courtesy. * Ability to stand for 8 hours or length of shift. * Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance. * Effective communication, written and interpersonal skills. Other Skills and Knowledge: * Ability to read and speak English proficiently. * Ability to problem solve quickly Physical Demands And Work Environment: * Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. * Standing position for several hours within the day.
