Under the direction of the Division of Neonatology, the Neonatal Physician Assistant (NPA) & Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) provides medical management of neonatal patients with a variety of diagnoses in the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters (CHKD) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or other locations at CHKD or in contracted facilities where NICU and/or general nursery patients are cared for. Reports to department leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates excellence in practice characterized by quality patient care and participation in formal and informal patient, family and staff education.
Performs a complete history and physical on new admissions and daily examinations and documents findings in medical record.
Generates problem lists and differential diagnoses based on clinical findings.
Creates a comprehensive treatment plan including laboratory, diagnostic testing and medications as indicated.
Effectively utilizes healthcare resources and communicates with other members of the healthcare team to provide family support, and discharge planning.
Performs other duties as assigned.
LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
Required Licenses and/or Certifications
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP):
Registered Nursing License in the State of Virginia or Registered Nurse holding a valid Compact State license required at time of hire.
Current Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification from the National Certification Corporation (NCC) required at time of hire.
Neonatal Physician Assistant (NPA):
Current state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Virginia required at time of hire.
Current National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification required at time of hire.
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) & Neonatal Physician Assistant (NPA):

Join a dynamic cardiac procedural unit as a Telemetry Registered Nurse, providing exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients pre and post cardiac procedures. The unit supports a wide range of diagnoses including pre/post catheterization, pacemaker insertion, and management of arrhythmias, among others. This high-acuity environment requires a skilled professional comfortable with rapid patient turnover and effective collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
Monitor cardiac telemetry and manage patients with varying levels of acuity.
Administer cardiac drips and manage peripheral and central line care.
Provide emergency response and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory, and physical therapy services.
Adhere to isolation precautions and medication management protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in telemetry or cardiac nursing.
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
Preferred skills include IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, and management of vasoactive drips (non-titrating).

Description & Requirements Maximus is currently hiring for Domestic Travel Coordinators to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. This is a remote opportunity. The Domestic Travel Coordinator is responsible for facilitating timely scheduling of examinations by gathering and organizing travel arrangements with interested providers. The Domestic Travel Coordinator works with different teams and third-party facilities to coordinate scheduling exams in areas that lack adequate coverage.
- Due to contract requirements, only US Citizens or Green Card holders can be considered for this opportunity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reach out to providers to obtain availability to travel.
- Coordinate with scheduling team when needed to plan and arrange provider traveling plans.
- Oversee the schedules of traveling providers to ensure utilization.
- Reach out to per diem, prison facilities, or recruit Mobile Unit spaces to obtain and confirm appointment availability.
- Maintain communication with Provider Group Networks to ensure accurate billing, payment, and scheduling.
- Responsible for coordinating logistics associated with Veterans Claims Clinics and scheduling.
- Coordinate the delivery and training of equipment for specialty providers.
- Establish and maintain effective communication between the team and Regional Management.
- Coordinate travel and negotiate pay rates to schedule providers in areas of need, prison facilities, or at a Veteran's home location.
- Notify providers in a timely manner in the event of cancelled appointment or block times and dates.
- Seek VA approval for proposed Incarcerated Veteran and Home Visit requests prior to completing scheduling process.
- Assist with requests from Management, Regional Supervisors, and Travel Coordinator Supervisor.
- Promptly address emails and any voicemails on a daily basis.

We are currently looking for a Medical Doctor, Doctor of Osteopathy, or Nurse Practitioner (MD, DO, or NP) to join our expanding team that can fill the role of an in-house travel provider.
The in-house travel provider is responsible for covering vacant territories, establishing new facilities, covering FMLA, vacations, or sick time, providing bedside surgical wound care services, and excellent customer service.
QSM provides standardized training to all providers and the right candidate must be able complete two (2) weeks of at-home didactic training followed by six (6) or more weeks of field training in any of the states in which QSM operates. Key Responsibilities and Duties
Establishes rapport quickly with participants, setting them at ease and providing direction regarding financial transactions and long-term asset planning
Understands participant needs and outlines appropriate solutions leveraging TIAA products and services, explaining viable options using clear and simple explanations.
Answers participant questions by communicating financial plan details and providing further explanation when necessary.

Description of Work:
The NCWorks Career Center provides a full range of services to diverse categories of job seekers and employers to meet their employment and placement needs through assessment and development of job requirements, evaluation of experiences, skills and abilities, referral to jobs, job training programs or other placement services.
The position is in a local office environment located in Rocky Mount and services Edgecombe, Nash and Wilson counties. The primary purpose of the position is to provide information, guidance and assistance to customers seeking employment and employers seeking workers through programs administrated by the Department of Commerce/Division of Workforce Solutions and the local Workforce boards in a local career center environment.
The primary duties of this position are to act as a liaison between the center and local businesses. The role includes identifying employer needs, promoting job opportunities, and facilitating connections between businesses and potential candidates. Responsibilities will involve developing recruitment strategies, organizing job fairs (hiring events), conducting outreach to local companies, and maintaining relationships with employers to understand their workforce requirements.
Duties also involve conducting interviews, entering information into databases, researching job orders, and taking job listings from businesses by phone or in person. The position will cross-train in Career Center services, conduct Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessments (RESEA), and collaborate with workforce partners in an Integrated Services Delivery (ISD) environment to ensure effective service delivery. The work is performed under the supervision of the DWS Manager in the NCWorks Career Center in Nash County.
