The HSE Auditor supports specific client needs nationally by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety.
+ Audit all aspects of construction job sites and facilities ensuring OSHA compliance
+ Ensure applicable laws, regulations, and EHS requirements are communicated to project team members and contractors
+ Provide technical consulting for safety-related issues
+ Coordinate incident investigations, documentation, reporting, and follow-up
+ Conduct comprehensive on-site safety assessments and verifying effective corrective actions are being completed
+ Monitoring contractor field activity to ensure compliance with OSHA and General Contractor's safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
+ Minimum 10 years of direct safety experience
+ Owners Representative experience required
+ Degree in a safety related field is preferred
+ Proven experience auditing large and small scale facilities and construction projects
+ Advance knowledge OSHA safety standards
+ Superb time management skills, able to switch gears and prioritize schedule based on needs of projects
+ Excellent verbal and written communication is vital
+ Advanced Microsoft Office, safety audit programs, data bases, and other job specific computer programs.
Travel and Schedule Requirements:
+ Overnight travel will be 2 - 3 weeks per month, Monday - Friday
+ Weekends not expected but possible
+ Regional (local) travel can be expected 1 week per month
+ Remote 1 week per month
+ HazTek arranges and pays travel expenses to include airfare, lodging, per diem, rental car.
+ Overtime will be required | Up to 50 -60 hours per week based on project needs
+ 5 days of vacation every 3 months
