Our Environmental Sector delivers comprehensive environmental solutions to meet the full project lifecycle needs of clients in renewable energy, oil - gas, transportation, and manufacturing industries. POSITION SUMMARY
TRC is seeking a Service Team Leader (STL) to lead TRC's Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Planning (RMP) Services within a specified geographic region of the country. The selected PSM/RMP STL will work collaboratively with other PSM/RMP STLs and the National Director of EHS Services to lead the technical development, work practices/standards/tools, strategic growth, marketing materials, key client account expansion, and execution of PSM - RMP Services.
This individual may work from varied locations in the country.
Responsibilities
* Technical/regulatory leader for the Process Safety Management - Risk Management Planning Services within a specified geographic region.
* Develops, implements, and maintains a strategy and execution plan for delivering Process Safety Management - Risk Management Planning Services to our key client/ targeted new client growth account program.
* Establishes, maintains, and improves upon our branding, marketing, and sales materials for the delivery of Process Safety Management - Risk Management Planning Services.
* Supports our Communications and Marketing Team-s activities regarding digital media campaigns and website content for Process Safety Management - Risk Management Planning Services.
* Establishes, maintains, and improves work standards, practices, and tools for the efficient delivery, thoroughness, and quality of Process Safety Management - Risk Management Planning Services.
* Mentors and coaches project managers and project consultants for growth and delivery of Process Safety Management - Risk Management Planning Services as part of a national delivery platform.
* Project and Client Specific Activities may include:
* Performing Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs), Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) and Facility Siting Analysis
* Conduct/lead PSM and RMP compliance audits to evaluate applicability and conformance with applicable PSM and RMP requirements.
* Establishing management system design, development, and implementation to specific standards to manage and control EHS risks.
* Developing and implementing written PSM - RMP programs (e.g., employee training, PHAs, operating procedures, mechanical integrity, etc.).
* Developing and supporting PSM - RMP training program content.
* Performing project management, oversight, and coordination.
* Managing and growing client relationships.
* Preparing client deliverables.
* Mentoring project team members.
* Traveling to client sites as needed.
* Working with client account managers and account teams to meet client expectations and increase services provided to the client.
* Assisting a variety of industrial operations including power, chemical, food - beverage, aerospace, forest products, rail transportation, oil - gas, retail, etc.
Qualifications
* Professional or technical degree in engineering, safety, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
* 7+ years of providing consulting services related to Process Safety Management, Risk Management Planning, Enforcement Activities, and related Regulatory Requirements for industrial and commercial clients.
* Requires strong experience with OSHA-s Process Safety Management (PSM) Standards (29 CFR 1910.119) and EPA-s Chemical Accident Prevention Program (40 CFR 68).
* Requires previous consulting experience with an existing client base and 3+ years direct responsibility for managing and growing existing accounts and prospecting for new clients related to PSM and RMP Standards.
* Proven track record with successful marketing, business development, business management and oversight of regional and/or national businesses.
* Strong communications and technical skills both written and oral.
* Work as a team player to support our national service platform.
* Interface well with and develop a rapport and positive relationship with our clients and employees.
* Ability to carry equipment up to 40 lbs.
* Ability to work in an industrial environment, climb ladders, and stairs.
* Be able to wear a respirator, and other safety equipment as needed.
* Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
* Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
* Certified Professional Process Safety Auditor.
* Experience with anhydrous ammonia refrigeration systems.
* Knowledgeable of common industry standards for facilities subject to PSM and RMP standards (e.g., API standards, International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR), Chlorine Institute, etc.).
* Project management experience.
* Preferred skills include experience performing and processing: (1) process hazard analysis (PHA); (2) layer of protection analysis (LOPA); (3) process safety information (PSI); (4) compliance program design and development; (5) compliance auditing; (6) management system design, development, and implementation; (7) performing off-site consequence analysis; (8) facility siting analysis; (9) knowledgeable of the API standards for process and pipeline operations; etc.

We are seeking an experienced Ventilation Specialist for testing and certification of HEPA air filtration in laboratory equipment, air filtration devices, and in air conveyance systems to join our Woburn, MA Office. This position would be working within our Building Sciences and Industrial Hygiene business within our Environmental Sector.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for testing and certification of HEPA air filtration in laboratory equipment and in air conveyance systems, including, but not necessarily limited to, biological safety cabinets, laboratory fume hoods, and other ventilation equipment.
* Inspection services include troubleshooting and equipment repairs.
* Manage various work schedules and situations related to emergency response scenarios.
* Responsible for lifting and carrying of testing equipment.

Qualifications
* Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Science or Engineering related field. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
* Should have a minimum of 2 years of experience inspecting and testing biological Safety Cabinets, laminar flow benches, and chemical fume hoods.
* NSF 49 certification or the ability to obtain certification is required.
* Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills also very important.
* Lifting and carrying of testing equipment required for this position.

Overview
POSITION SUMMARY
TRC is seeking a Senior Wetland Scientist to join our Permitting, Planning and Licensing team in Southern New England. The successful candidate will be involved in completing and leading field surveys, desktop studies, permitting, and reporting to support a wide variety of site development, transportation, energy-related (electric transmission, gas pipelines, and renewable energy (wind/solar)), climate adaptation and resiliency, and ecological restoration projects in the Northeast. This individual will be expected to serve as a lead wetland delineator and a mentor to field technicians to support their development of field skills (e.g., plant identification and soil characterization). Additionally, the person in this position will support and lead other biological and physical resource surveys. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about their work, driven by intellectual curiosity, and strive to lead and work collaboratively to best serve our clients and help create the future of our communities in meaningful and sustainable ways.
The Senior Wetland Scientist may report to either the Lowell, MA, Waltham, MA, or East Providence, RI, Windsor, CT offices of TRC and will lead and support the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of key wetland, hydrologic, and water resources science and permitting programs to support quality and strategic growth.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
* Lead wetland delineations and functional assessments based on the USACE 1987 Manual and applicable regional supplements in various state jurisdictions of the Northeast.
* Lead physical resource surveys including stream and floodplain hydrologic assessments.
* Lead or support other biological surveys including vernal pool, winter raptor, breeding bird, and habitat for protected species/species of special concern.
* Lead or support other water-based and terrestrial environmental resource field programs.
* Prepare permit applications and participate in regulatory permitting processes. This is expected to include permitting through MassDEP, CT DEEP, RIDEM, USACE, USFWS and other New England states' permitting programs, federal Clean Water Act, and related permitting (Sections 404, 10, 408), and federal or state Section 401 Water Quality Certification.
* Prepare scientific reports and environmental impact assessments.
* Provide senior QA/QC for wetlands and habit assessments and reports.
* Mentor and manage field technicians and other wetland scientists.
* Manage projects and tasks on a variety of environmental resource projects.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
* Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in ecology, environmental science, geology, hydrology, natural resources, wildlife science, or related field.
* 10+ years of relevant experience in environmental science, with demonstrated subject matter expertise.
* Proficiency in leading wetland delineations and functional assessments across multiple jurisdictions, including use of GPS equipment and electronic data collection.
* Demonstrated ability to successfully complete both field survey and technical writing assignments.
* Understanding of and working proficiency with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements for the region, especially as they apply to the siting and environmental permitting of transportation and energy infrastructure development projects.
* Ability to develop and deliver presentations to clients, government agency personnel, and community stakeholders.
* Knowledge of and ability to apply environmental compliance and permitting regulations of applicable regulatory agencies, including MassDEP, CTDEEP, RIDEM, USACE, USFWS and local zoning/planning boards and commissions.
* Experience and comfort with managing and mentoring field staff and other wetland scientists.

* Master's degree in relevant field.
