Overview Senior estimator for Engineering and Construction - Position will have primary responsibility for developing and maintaining an estimating database of costs and equipment used in power related transmission and distribution projects for both engineering and construction work. With an established database the estimator supports the development of project and programs estimates for proposed and approved projects. They also assist in developing and tracking detailed bid packages for equipment and construction contracts. Maintain and update TRC estimate qualifications, initiate FATRC registrations and monitor client bid requests for various practices in the Energy Sector. This position will work closely with project controls and senior management staff to support the development and production of high-quality estimates. Responsibilities Position Summary / Job Duties: Individual must be able to perform the following duties. * Use of CAD software and ability to draft and post process survey data. SUMMARY: The Regional Quality Manager is a member of the Corporate Quality and Compliance team, responsible for successful management, oversight, and support of quality performance and activities across multiple offices within the assigned Region. This role is expected to oversee implementations necessary to ensure inspection, laboratory, and customer service provided by CTD offices are in accordance with business needs of the Division and in conformance with the Company and Division's Quality Management System (QMS). When not on-site or travelling for business needs, the RQM may have the flexibility to work from a home office. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPSONSIBILITIES include the following. In this role you can expect to manage, instruct, and train a survey crew of 1 -5 people, including but not limited to assigning and monitoring work and providing evaluations. Complete surveying for boundary and topographic, ALTA, GPS, hydrographic and control surveys. Work with construction plans and providing surveying for large, fast paced commercial projects. Perform 90% of work in the field and may be conducted outside in various conditions. Key Responsibilities · Assist Project Managers in the acquisition and segregation of project Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), development of client summaries and data collation/collection. · Review of reports and client invoices for errors, backup documents, and completeness, reject and request update as necessary. · Create internal and external job assignments through a web-based project management system. Including data entry and maintenance of company databases and records. · Coordinate meetings, conference call and associated calendar. · Assist in the sourcing of inspection personnel for assignments as required by PM. · With support from Project Manager and Technical Services management, drive the commercial transition between Business Development, Technical Services and Accounting to successfully kick-off new projects and jobs by reviewing contractual obligations ensuring commercial terms and billing requirements are clear and known to all parties. · Liaise with intra-company departments to support company initiatives, training and field inspector needs. · Assist Project Managers to coordinate inspectors travel plans, and track expense reporting. · Ensure key operational, planning and technical documents are accurate and updated frequently; documents include but are not limited to: project calendars, client project execution plans, and shared drive or SharePoint management. · Contribute to the bid to cash process by timely securing field timesheets, and interacting with Project Manager and Accounting department to verify accuracy of invoicing reports and assisting in closing billing disputes.
