TRC is seeking an enthusiastic Administrative Coordinator Apprentice for a 15-week, paid Workforce Development program. As an Administrative Coordinator Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience and develop the skills necessary to support the Outreach team and project managers in administrative and coordination tasks. This role provides an opportunity to learn how to conduct research, manage data, and coordinate efforts within the team and with external stakeholders. The apprentice will also learn new software and platforms that support the Outreach Team.

Responsibilities
On-the-Job Training includes (but is not limited to):
* Researching new organizations and events relevant to New Construction and Outreach activities.
* Managing and tracking campaigns, opportunities, activities, and contacts using the program's CRM database (Microsoft Dynamics - experience not required).
* Performing data entry and management in reporting databases and archiving legacy materials.

TRC is seeking a qualified Project Engineer II to support commercial and industrial (C&I) energy efficiency and demand management programs in New Jersey. Responsibilities may include energy auditing, energy analysis, energy modeling, engineering reviews, technical writing, and project management. Candidates must possess strong technical capabilities including knowledge of building systems, energy efficiency strategies, demand management, sustainability and decarbonization.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the Advanced Energy team and external stakeholders to provide engineering and auditing support for market-transforming programs across multiple building sectors. The role involves a mix of office-based technical analysis and on-site project fieldwork on a diverse range of commercial and industrial (C&I) projects with varied energy systems. It includes frequent interaction with clients and may require local travel.
Success in this position requires strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills; adaptability; a broad technical skill set; and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication. The candidate will be expected to apply sound judgment and experience to manage complex tasks, meet project goals, and deliver high-quality results in a dynamic, client-facing environment.
Responsibilities
* Conduct facility ASHRAE Level II and III audits for schools, hospitals, multifamily buildings, universities, municipalities, and other commercial properties.
* Perform facility utility analysis, energy benchmarking, energy balancing, and energy savings calculations.
* Review and develop calculations and assumptions used to estimate or measure energy savings.
* Produce technical reports that summarize project scope, methodologies, assumptions, findings, and recommendations.
* Conduct on-site data collection and deploy metering equipment to support energy analysis and validate equipment performance.
* Analyze large datasets and operational trends to support engineering decisions and verify measure savings.
* Support implementation of energy efficiency measures such as HVAC upgrades, electrification (e.g., heat pumps), lighting, controls, envelope improvements, and refrigeration systems.
* Deliver high quality reports and calculations requiring minimal internal review efforts.
* Manage multiple project schedules, deliverables, and budgets simultaneously while meeting deadlines and client expectations.
* Participate in meetings and presentations, providing clear and accurate responses to technical and program-related questions.
* Providing technical assistance to customers, contractors, and other stakeholders including support with energy savings calculations and meeting program requirements.
* Deploy metering equipment and analyzing large data sets to validate baseline and replacement equipment operation.
* Stay informed about energy issues and industry trends through regular technical reading and participation in local and national professional organizations.
* Collaborate and work cross-functionally with a large and diverse team of project engineers located throughout the East Region and nationally.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or related discipline).
* 3-6 years of experience with energy auditing (ASHRAE Level I-III), energy analysis, energy modeling, technical report writing, or engineering analysis.
* Strong understanding of HVAC systems, energy systems, building science, and high-performance design.
* Hands-on field experience with mechanical and energy systems is a strong plus.
* Familiarity with energy modeling tools such as eQUEST, EnergyPlus, Trane TRACE, or similar software.
* Proficiency with spreadsheet-based energy calculations and custom analysis tools.
* Experience developing ECM recommendations and quantifying savings for technologies such as HVAC, motors, lighting, controls, refrigeration, building envelope, and appliances.
* Knowledge of energy codes and standards including ASHRAE and IECC.
* Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Licenses, certifications and accreditations are a plus (e.g., Professional Engineer, Engineer in Training, Certified Energy Manager, Building Energy Modeling Professional).

As a Field Inspector you will conduct energy analysis, site inspections, and reporting for multiple commercial and industrial energy efficiency projects and/or customers. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AMI Program Manager with experience in electric utility operations managing, implementing, integrating and deploying Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).
As a consultant working for a large utility TRC customer, the AMI Program Manager is overseeing a multimillion multiyear program, segmented in sub-projects. Working closely with the Customer, vendors and project personnel, the Senior Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the proper delivery of the program for our customers. He / She has accountability for meeting the financial performance expected from the project execution in terms of revenues, profitability, and cash, while ensuring a superior level of customer satisfaction. Acting as a real customer success manager, the Senior Program Manager is responsible for maximizing revenues for the program through upsells and cross sells.
The AMI Program Manager will lead the project management team working for the program.
Responsibilities
* Acts as trust advisor to the client

* This new hire will be a seller/doer, who will be expected to bring in new clients/projects to TRC, with a focus on transactional and post-acquisition engagements. Sales expectations (bookings) are $500K-$1M Gross Revenue annually, and utilization of 50% is expected.
* Manage complex due diligence projects involving multi-site portfolios and multi-person subject matter expert project teams as necessary per engagement requirements.
* Manage due diligence assessments consistent with ASTM Phase I standards and other global protocols, including broad-based limited compliance assessments at industrial and commercial facilities.
* Help clients with internal processes for managing transaction risks and identifying value creation opportunities. Work with clients to find solutions to transaction-driven environmental issues, including EHS compliance, ESG impacts and opportunities, remediation, portfolio issues, Brownfields, and liability cost estimating.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of fifteen to twenty years of transactional experience, leading and managing complex EHS/ESG due diligence projects for multinational private equity, corporations, financial institutions, and their legal counsel.
* Experience with managing and executing transactions in various sectors with Private Equity and corporate clients is required.

TRC is seeking a qualified Project Engineer III to support commercial and industrial (C&I) energy efficiency and demand management programs in our East Region. Responsibilities may include energy analysis, engineering reviews, research, technical writing, energy modeling, energy auditing, and project management for multiple C&I programs, projects and/or customers. Candidates must possess strong technical capabilities including knowledge of building systems, energy efficiency, demand management, and decarbonization. The desired candidate will work collaboratively with the Advanced Energy team and clients to provide engineering support for market transforming programs that encourage energy efficiency and decarbonization.
The candidate will be presented with the challenge of a range of C&I projects with a variety of energy systems. There will be significant interface with clients that may require local travel. The position requires the ability to manage projects, flexibility, diversity of technical expertise, strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and excellent customer care skills. The candidate will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and perform a variety of complicated tasks.
Responsibilities
* Developing and reviewing calculations and assumptions used to estimate energy savings.
* Developing and reviewing technical reports that summarize project scope, calculation methodologies, key assumptions, and recommendations.
* Performing facility utility analysis, energy balancing, and energy benchmarking.
* Conducting facility ASHRAE Level II and III audits for a variety of building sectors: universities, schools, hospitals, multifamily, and municipalities.
* Delivering high quality reports and calculations requiring minimal internal review efforts.
* Managing multiple project schedules, budgets, and deliverables simultaneously while meeting deadlines and client expectations.
* Providing technical assistance to customers, contractors, and other stakeholders including support with energy savings calculations and meeting program requirements.
* Deploying metering equipment and analyzing large data sets to validate baseline and replacement equipment operation.
* Conducting meetings and presentations and provide answers to technical and program related questions.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Energy). Other engineering disciplines will be considered.
* 5-10 years of experience with energy analysis, energy modeling, ASHRAE Level I, II or III energy auditing, and technical report writing.
* Strong understanding of HVAC and energy systems, building science, and high-performance design. Hands on experience with mechanical systems is a strong plus.
* Experience in electrification and energy efficiency recommendations including measures such as heat pump installations, HVAC upgrades and controls, and refrigeration systems.
* Proficiency in developing calculations using with spreadsheet-based analysis techniques and/or energy modeling applications (eQUEST, Trane, EnergyPlus, etc.).
* Knowledge of energy codes and standards (ASHRAE, IECC).
* Exceptional project management, organizational, time-management, and planning skills with the ability to successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders and partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists.
Responsibilities

* Field assistance with groundwater sampling, soil sampling, soil vapor sampling, ecological risk assessments etc.
