Overview
TRC Environmental Corp. seeks to fill a ProjectManager position within our Cleveland, Ohio office in TRC's Engineering, Construction & Remediation service. The Environmental ProjectManager posting is a mid-level, career-oriented position that requires providing clients all aspects of environmental consulting from proposal preparation to project execution. The position focuses on a candidate developing skills to manageprojects and clients, while establishing an environmental practice/client base and mentoring/training junior staff members. Desire to work with internal business development professionals and seniormanagers to establish and grow a sustainable client base is required and preferred candidates should be able to demonstrate the following skills:
Responsibilities
* Will serve as an Environmental ProjectManager for new and existing customers, including project scoping, proposal preparation, budgeting, project accounting, report preparation, and quality assurance.
* Support environmental investigation, compliance, and remediation projects in the field and office.
* Assist with developing proposals for and managing environmental projects related to assessment and remediation, and including specification development, asbestos surveys/abatement, and demolition oversight.
* Will be expected to achieve 75% utilization on billable projects within six months of hire and maintaining that level thereafter.
* Will be responsible for cross-selling and increasing business from accounts under management.
* Will work with other TRC projectmanagers and sales professionals on utilizing efficient business development strategies for new and existing customers.
* Will coordinate and assist junior staff members with project planning, data collection, and reporting.
* Possess strong verbal, written, presentation, and excellent client management skills; demonstrated ability leading and managing complex proposals and projects; as well as being goal oriented, quality focused, and have demonstrated success with creating and fostering a team environment.
Qualifications
* Professional or technical degree in engineering, geology, environmental science or related field. Advanced degree and state certification or equivalent preferred.
* Prefer 5-10 years experience in environmental site assessment, remediation, and environmental compliance service areas.
* Comprehensive knowledge of Ohio VAP, ASTM Phase I and II environmental site assessments, and BUSTR regulations. Professional licensure (PE or PG) preferred.
* Experience with Phase I and Phase II property assessments, site characterization, subsurface investigation, and remediation projects in accordance with the Ohio VAP.
* Experience with sampling various media including soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment and other contaminated media; installation of borings/groundwater wells, and conducting field work at various levels of PPE.
* Ability to prepare reports including data tables, data summarization and interpretation of results, including comparisons to generally accepted standards.
* Ability to conduct regulatory research and determine applicability to projects at hand.
* Strong technical writing skills related to report and presentation preparation; interest in public speaking at presentations and conferences.
* Experience managing environmental projects with emphasis on assessment and remediation, including writing proposals and qualifications statements; scoping, budgeting, scheduling, invoicing, staffing, reporting; and subcontractor procurement, administration, and oversight.
* Knowledge and experience regarding brownfield redevelopment and brownfield grant funding.
* 40-hr HAZWOPER certification and up-to-date 8-hr annual refresher.
* Current State of Ohio asbestos certifications and asbestos project experience preferred.
* Ability to make decisions and perform as an independent thinker and leader.
* Energetic, self-directed, and comfortable being client-facing. Ability to engage with clients in a professional manner and display a customer service-oriented attitude.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops/trainings, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional organizations/societies.
* Proven track record with successful marketing, business development, business management, and client relationship management.

* Location is Ohio - Cleveland and the Northeast Ohio area. Some travel with overnight stays around Ohio and surrounding states. Occasional longer trips to other locations for regional and national company meetings and training.

POSITION SUMMARY
The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individuals to join our organization as a Program Manager, Diabetes - Public Payment Solutions within the Center for Advancing Healthy Communities (CAHC) to manage three Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)-funded projects. The three (3) projects include: National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) - Building Capacity for Medicare Coverage; 2) Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support - Medicare and Medicaid Coverage; and 3) National DPP - Building Capacity for Medicaid Coverage and Enrollment.
Under the direction of the Associate Director of the Diabetes Portfolio, this position will guide planning and implementation of project-related activities, coordinate project teams, develop and sustain relationships with partners, and manage day-to-day operations across all projects. The Program Manager will collaborate with the project team, comprised of NACDD staff, subject matter experts, and other vendors. This position may also support future Diabetes Portfolio projects. *This position is grant-funded, with funding secured through July 31, 2026. Continuation of the position beyond this date is contingent upon the availability of continued grant funding, which the organization is committed to actively pursuing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Serve as the project facilitator and projectmanager for the three projects;

Work closely with NACDD staff, subject matter experts, and other vendors, ensuring strong alignment, communication, and collaboration within and across the three projects;
Participate in all Diabetes Portfolio-, CAHC-, NACDD-, and CDC-required meetings;
Create timelines and ensure fulfillment of all workplan/project activities in the three projects;
Lead all required (internal and CDC) reporting for the three current projects;
Serve as a meeting facilitator for meetings/trainings within each project including developing agendas, leading meetings in partnership with subject matter experts, preparing/sending meeting summaries, and completing follow-up activities;
Develop and disseminate state-level requests for applications (RFA) to identify project partners;
Identify opportunities for cross-program collaboration and synergy across CAHC and NACDD programs/projects, leverage sharing of resources, and ensure alignment with NACDD's mission/vision and Strategic Plan;
Utilize systems to measure and communicate impact of project-related efforts;
Collaborate with the assigned Diabetes Portfolio Program Evaluator, specific Diabetes Portfolio project evaluator, and NACDD Evaluation Department on evaluation-related activities;
Collaborate with NACDD's Communication Department on communication-related activities;
Collaborate with other Diabetes Portfolio, CAHC, and NACDD programs and team members;
Perform other duties, as assigned or necessary, to achieve Diabetes Portfolio, CAHC, and NACDD's goals and objectives.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Sociology, Public Health or other health-related fields;
Five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant experience in planning, implementing/leading, and convening chronic disease prevention and/or management or health promotion programs;

Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Program Implementation
● Develop program recruitment plans in collaboration with program leadership, and ensure successful implementation of recruitment strategies
● Achieve program enrollment targets, and report enrollment metrics on a regular basis
● Utilize the Girls Inc. Experience to oversee planning and facilitation of assigned programs
● Manage program planning projects and support the development of high-quality lesson plans

● Create a pro-girl learning environment that is safe, challenging, and engaging
● Create positive relationships with girls, parents, and partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction

● Implement and oversee meaningful volunteer engagements for corporate partners
● Represent Girls Inc. at community events to build awareness of mission and programs
● Keep abreast of trends in youth development, specifically girls' and women's issues, to strengthen knowledge and support programming efforts
● Responsible for achieving desired impact, as evidenced by quantitative and qualitative outcomes measurement and continuous program improvement
Management and Supervision
● Provide training and development to develop and retain high-performing team members, empowering them to elevate their level of responsibility
● Provide regular feedback and conduct program observations and performance appraisals to develop, guide, and support staff in achieving success in their job function
● Guide and monitor staff and volunteer performance by conducting weekly staff meetings to address issues and concerns and maintain positive collaboration amongst the team
● Maintain staff records to ensure accurate record-keeping and limit liability to the organization
Administrative
• Ensure compliance of all safety and program quality standards
● Monitor spending and adherence to program budgets to ensure consistency and accuracy
● Collect and track program fees
● Submit program reports as requested; maintain and submit required internal agency documents
● Maintain inventory of program supplies, and requisition supplies in a timely manner
● Maintain attendance records for participants and volunteers
● Ensure proper collection of impact data and administration of outcomes surveys
● Monitor facilities, equipment, and vehicles for proper functionality and safety

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree; special consideration may be given for equivalent experience and qualifications in lieu of degree.

Overview
The successful candidate will have the ability to assist and lead the design and development of roadway design tasks and plan preparation. We are specifically looking for candidates who specialize in the design of roadway geometry, development of contract documents (specifications, plans, cost estimates, etc.), stakeholder coordination, and technical proposal contributions.
Teamwork is the cornerstone of our practice. In this lead role, the candidate will be expected to work well within a multi-disciplined team environment, coordinating at times with various task leaders. In addition to the hands-on roadway design experience on traditional projects, design-build, and municipal projects, the candidate will have the opportunity to engage multiple career paths, including projectmanagement and office leadership.
Responsibilities
* Lead the team of engineerwithin the design and production of construction highway plans
* Perform and/or review project bid documents, including preparation of plans, cost estimates, and specifications
* Performs technical analyses, calculations, and design tasks as needed
* Experience in specific civil engineering tasks, including horizontal and vertical geometric design, 3D corridor modeling, preparation of design calculations, construction specifications, and preparation of construction cost estimates
* As project lead, communicate with task leads
* Defines the scope of work and staff-hour requirements for client proposals
* Ensure project/task schedules and budgets are met
* Provide quality control, quality assurance for roadway design projects of simple and complex nature
* Assist in the technical aspects of proposal production
* Mentor young engineers to ensure accurate document or plan preparation
* Represent the team at client meetings, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
* 15+ years of related highway design and management experience for transportation clients (Ohio DOT, Ohio Turnpike, Local municipalities)
* Working knowledge of Federal and State design standards, AASHTO Design Guidelines for Highway and Streets, MUTCD, Ohio DOT
* Professional Engineering license in OH
* Ohio DOT CES scores on a projectmanaged (if applicable)
* Experience/understanding of 3D modeling, Bentley OpenRoads, MicroStation
* Microsoft Office suite

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range
USD $90,002.00 - USD $216,445.00 /Yr.
