In 1990 the Schweppes United StatesA. division of Cadbury Beverage of North America struck a 15-year deal with Tree Top for the exclusive franchise rights to its juice line in 11 western states, as well as Alaska and Hawaii.
Tree Top restructured in 1996 as a response to the growth of its ingredient business.
In 1999 Tree Top and five other United States juice concentrate businesses petitioned the United States Department of Commerce to investigate several Chinese companies they claimed were selling concentrate into the United States market for less than cost of production.
In 2003 it test marketed a new line of snack products called Flat Fruit.
In 2008, the cooperative had nearly 1,000 grower/owners in Washington, Oregon and Idaho and along with its subsidiary, Sabroso Company, produce a wide array of fruit-based products and ingredients, including Tree Top apple juice, apple sauce, and fresh sliced apples.
In 2010, the Sabroso Company was integrated into Tree Top's cooperative structure, and the cooperative is now the producer of the widest array of fruit products from a single source.
