Key Responsibilities
•Perform varying manual, repetitive tasks to process meat from the turkeys.
•Ensure product safety and product defense in the plant.
•Follows all GMP and HACCP procedures that relate to product safety with the facility.
•Supports all Food Safety initiatives.
•Some tasks are performed using tools or equipment, while others are completed manually.
•Monitor equipment operation and promptly notify appropriate personnel of any malfunctions or safety concerns.
•Rotate through various functions within the processing department as needed.
•Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience)
•High school Diploma or related preferred
•Entry level does not require previous experience in a Production role

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands, arms, and fingers to manually handle carcasses and parts. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Certain roles may require specific vision abilities that may include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions & Travel Requirements
•Work is performed in a food processing plant with a high noise level, storage coolers/facilities.
•Position requires working around processing plant equipment.
•Must be physically capable of working extended hours, overtime, holidays, and weekends if needed and in varying elements that could include damp, cold, wet, hot or warm environment, standing for long periods of time.
•This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environment.
•The noise level of the office environment is usually moderate; the noise level in the manufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protection.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Foam Dept. Position Details: This position is responsible for inspecting and packing quality product in a safe, efficient and quality manner.
Essential Duties Include:
· Respond to /and operatemachines
· Identify serious problems for maintenance
· Assemble and pack boxes with light-weight packaging components consisting of lids and tubs
· Place boxes of finished goods on skids approximately 24 times per hour
· On occasion (up to approximately 6 times per hour) lift cases weighing up to 30lbs. to a height of 6 ft. to put on skids
· Push boxes into case sealer

Responsibilities
Operate and maintain a minimum of two forming presses along with two sets of packaging lines.
Troubleshoot problems during operation for both the forming presses and packaging line equipment.
Supply and install all raw material for the forming presses and packaging equipment as needed.
Monitor quality of product as it is discharged from forming machines, such as formation, stack configuration, print quality, delivery to packaging line, etc.
Monitor the quality of the packaged product after passing through the packaging line.
Execute and maintain all WSWD procedures and standards:
Peer to Peer communication-Huddle to discuss status of production line with shift counterparts. Document productivity and losses
Centerlines-Confirm machine settings and complete deviations when setting note to standard.
CIL's-Clean and inspect equipment daily to find and report defects.
Defect Handling-Complete defect tags for any defects found on the equipment.
6S-Maintain workspace organization.
Breakdown Elimination-Tag parts removed and replaced during a breakdown. Place into part morgue bin
Communicate with assigned Packers to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
Load paperboard rolls onto machine ensuring its placement is correct.
Assist the Packers in packing product when lines are running efficiently.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
