About the Role:
As a Human Resources Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering an engaging and empowering work environment at our Ogden, UT, facility, a manufacturer of baked goods and griddle products. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing a broad spectrum of human resources functions within the organization and serve as frontline operational support and an internal business partner. This role involves leading HR initiatives, advising leadership on HR strategies, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
Provide expert advice and coaching to department managers and front-line leadership on HR-related matters, including attendance management, conflict resolution, and progressive discipline.
Build and maintain effective relationships with employees and fostering strong employee connections.
Serve as a trusted resource, accessible to employees across all production shifts, while maintaining discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee data.
Supporting the management, implementation and communication of fundamental HR programs, including recognition programs, employee feedback forums, engagement survey action planning, and plant communications.
Managing the site's staffing and recruitment needs, including supporting onboarding and new hire orientation processes.
Driving positive employee relations by timely and proactively addressing employee inquiries and concerns and supporting investigations.

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Five or more years of related Human Resources experience is preferred.

**Job Description:**
**Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):**
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
+ Coordinating with production to ensure material is staged for current work order and for upcoming changeovers.
+ Allocating material pulled from staging locations to the correct work order (real-time)
+ Verifying inventory accuracy for all materials in the staging locations.
+ Ensure all pallets coming from production are accurately labeled, stacked and wrapped, and correctly returned to a warehouse location.
+ Perform end of shift pallet reconciliation with distribution lead.
+ Accurately count, receive, and store items in specific location.
+ Maintain a clean safe work area.
+ Cycle counting inventory locations.
+ Responsible for food safety, food quality and food defense.
+ Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Operate Processing machines within the Processing Team will be Flex operator to various positions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safely set up, adjust and operate processing machines such as mixer, laminator, oven, and scaler.
