About The Role
Collaborate with a team to create technical documentation, specification writing, technical &engineering specifications, product manuals, IFUs, service and operation manuals. Work closely with engineers and scientists at different levels to assist in deploying world changing mechanical/electronic systems. Keep technical documentation on projects according to ISO 9001/13485 quality management system requirements.
Work with engineers and physicists to review drawings and compile specifications that can be sent to procurement.
Support various tasks to document design, testing, requirement traceability and inspection.
Maintain documents and drawings in an organized manner according to Document Control and Quality Assurance principles
About You
2-5 years of experience in technical writing
Excellent Technical writing skills for a variety of mechanical, electrical, and various other high-tech products.
Practical knowledge of concepts of Quality Assurance and Document Control.
Ability to work with others and seek out necessary information to make effective Part Specifications.
Experience working with industrial vendors to get component information, design specifics, quality documents, testing certifications, etc.
Hands-on experience in managing technical documentation according to ISO 9001 quality management system requirements.

Adobe Software

About The Role
The Lead Particle Control Scientist leads and contributes to the Particle Control Group within TAE's Experimental Section. The group is responsible for developing and maintaining plasma fueling systems, implementing particle recycling control techniques (such as gettering and glow discharge cleaning), and designing and analyzing experiments related to particle transport. The group includes staff scientists with expertise in fueling, wall conditioning, and experimental design.
In this role, the Lead Scientist oversees the group's technical direction and performance, providing planning and guidance based on objectives set by the Head of Experimental Systems. They support and manage group members, including making recommendations on hiring, promotions, and staffing, and conducting performance reviews. In addition to their leadership role, the Lead is expected to carry out individual scientific research, contribute to cross-functional projects, and occasionally represent TAE externally in conferences, collaborations, or recruiting.
* Lead the development, operation, and continuous improvement of plasma fueling systems (e.g., cold gas injection, pellet injection), including fueling system topology and best practices.
* Develop and maintain wall conditioning systems for particle recycling control, including titanium gettering and glow discharge cleaning systems.
* Design and execute experiments focused on particle transport, wall conditions, and plasma-material interactions.
* Provide regular analysis and reporting of system data (e.g., vacuum conditions, fueling efficiency, wall conditioning effectiveness); contribute to scientific publications.
* Organize and manage the Particle Control Group for high technical performance, clear communication, and collaboration.
* Provide planning and guidance to group activities aligned with goals set by the Head of Experimental Systems.
* Manage team staffing, development, and performance (e.g., hiring, promotions, mentorship, performance reviews).
* Maintain responsibility for any test stands under the group's scope, ensuring alignment with experimental objectives.
* Participate in planning and design of future fusion devices, such as Da Vinci, with a focus on fueling and plasma-wall interface strategies.
* Collaborate with other technical groups across the organization in a matrixed project environment.

About The Role
The Operations Specialist is a member of in the machine Operations Group, which focuses on operating TAE's experimental facilities to execute experiments related to Nuclear Fusion. The group is part of the Experiment section of the C-2W program, in TAE's Fusion division, and the Operation Specialist is responsible for operating, testing, troubleshooting, documenting, and maintaining Tri Alpha Energy's C-2W experimental plasma fusion test machine, associated subsystems, test stands and additional equipment. Several operators who are experts who specialize in running large-scale, complex experimental devices, make up the Operations group. In addition to machine operations, the Operations Specialist also provides project support for the Physics and Engineering Departments.
This is an entry or mid-level position in machine operations involving plasma fusion research.
The candidate will act as the machine Operator In Charge (OIC) who configures the machine and executes plasma physics related experiments.
The OIC will apply their specialized training and expert understanding of the machine and subsystems to provide expert guidance to the physicists and engineers in conducting their research experiments.
The OIC must be capable of multi-tasking while paying meticulous attention to details regarding the changing status and configuration of the machine.
The ability to communicate detailed complex information clearly and effectively, verbally, by radio, using Zoom or by phone, with the experimenters and system support experts, is a critical job function.
The OIC is also responsible for operating the Emergency Safety System, used for protecting personnel and equipment, while following and applying safe work practices in an industrial environment.
Job responsibilities will be about 70% Operations, and 30% project work with other related work units, as appropriate for the skill sets and interests of the Operations Specialist, as well as the needs of TAE.
The position may also involve some shift work on evenings and weekends, with the possibility of 24/7 on-call, off-hour support, in the future.
About You

**Summary**

About The Role
The Machinist Fabricator's role is to set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This person will conduct diverse activities related to machine shop operation and be able to work with mechanical structures, including trouble shooting and repairing in situ if required.
Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
Plan for task material and tools as needed, knowing available on hand inventory and sourcing as needed or adapting task to make do with available stock as needed.
Selecting the proper set of machine tools as needed to complete the task in the most efficient accurate manner.
Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.
Maintain tools in a state of readiness for whatever task may come next, this includes cleaning sharpening, replacing any worn or damage tools that need attention.
Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Welding knowledge of TIG and MIG including proper weld prep and fixturing to minimize weld distortion.
